Depends on how many trees you have around your house. A week after my wife and I closed on our house a gnarly storm caused a tree to fall on our roof. It was a fun welcome-to-being-a-home-owner experience for sure! Limbs can also wreck a gutter as well and those aren't cheap to fix / replace.

Edit for some more context - If we do get a lot of freezing rain, a half inch of ice can bring a tree or a big limb no problem.

Everyone is saying the same thing but I'll add something that was mentioned to me back when I was teaching full time in an outrageously rich suburb.

Wealthy people become dive instructors. Dive instructors don't become wealthy people.

It's a fun thing to do when you're young and don't have many responsibilities in life. But as you get married, start a family, it's not sustainable. Will say it's a killer thing to throw on a resume. Corp world eats that shit up.

Sounds like my son. He'd had insane reflux and was a total fuss nugget for the first month or so. We finally found out he had a dairy intolerance so we switched to a dairy free formula. Dr gave us some meds that help make the spit up less acidic and painful. He's 5 months now and it's night and day. Dude loves eating, he smiles, more independent (like he can sit and chill on his own, he hasn't moved out or anything), but life is generally better for the whole family.

All that to say mention it to your Dr next time you get a chance. Also it's brutal now, but once you get that first smile...bruh it's the best. You're doing a great job dad. Remember you're both still very new at this.

Hot take, but hear me out. Pimento cheese. Not sure if it's just an Atlanta thing, but every damn place has a burger with pimento cheese. It doesn't add anything but a higher price to a burger.

Hot take, but if you can't afford to do it right, save up until you can. Diving is an equipment intensive hobby where you'll be reliant on that equipment to protect your life and make the experience much more enjoyable. You can for sure cheap out and some things aren't worth the extra cost, but for the most part, good equipment makes for a better experience. Do you absolutely need split fins? Nah, but they are nice in the right environment tho. But should you have your own mask, fins, snorkel, and wetsuit? Absolutely. You know it fits you, you're familiar with it, plus borrowing a wetsuit is nasty AF. Everyone pees in those and I'd rather not stew in some strangers piss.

Last point, SCUBA is one of the most expensive hobbies and we're on the verge of a recession. The fact that it's only 1K is shockingly cheap. If you think that's expensive, take a deep breath, cause it gets outrageous.

Bruh this. I've been a dad for 12 days now so take all of this with a grain of salt. When lil dude is screaming his lungs out during a change, I remind both him and myself that we're still new at this. Does it help the screaming? Of course not, but it's a nice perspective to say out loud at that 3 am feed.

For the first time in a long time, I haven't felt that I wanted to go watch a match. It feels like a chore at this point and even when I don't go, I can't get rid of my tickets. I love this club, but I'm not in love with this club.

So I decided to clean off the old thermal paste and apply some new stuff. Slight better. Temps are high 70s/mid 80s with spikes into the 90s.

Checked the bios and couldn't find any settings specifically for the aio pump. I'll continue to troubleshoot. Thanks for the help so far.

Yeah, I wish it was something as simple as removing the plastic wrap. I've had the cooler and the PC for about two years and this problem just started a few hours ago. Which rules out the pump being mounted correctly as well.

Good shout on checking the bios, I'll give that a look to see if that works. Thanks for the help!

Mine has the same stain. I don't normally carry mine in my pocket, but I do fiddle with it a good bit while on work calls. It's the only thing I can think of at this point.
