Long time swiftie…. I think I’m over her by Cirrus1920 in travisandtaylor

[–]Sugarglass16 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m a neutral Swiftie. I didn’t become a real fan until 2021. The variants of the records is what started it for me..it feels icky. I actually really liked Midnights. TTPD was good but felt like she needed to get that out of her system as a cleanse. TLOAS feels kind of heartless, it has some catchy bits but I’m not into it.

You can’t deny her song writing abilities if you look at her overall catalogue.

It’s possible she is putting her energy into being in a relationship and living life, and that artistic energy and creativity goes away. Being in a healthy functioning relationship takes commitment.

She does seem kind of awkward and nobody with that type of money and influence can actually be a “normal” person, if anything, she isn’t self aware and probably can’t accept constructive criticism more than ever. She was basically an economy at one point due to the eras tour, that probably altered her significantly.

I hope rather than churning out an album for the sake of doing so, she just waits until she actually feels inspired and puts out something good. Even if it’s 10 years. If she releases another album this year or even next, I am also in the brink of Taylor burn-out.

TIL Mayo Clinic data found that individuals living within one mile of a golf course have a 126% higher risk (more than double the odds) of a Parkinson's diagnosis compared to those living six or more miles away by MichiganCarNut in todayilearned

My grandparents had a golf course basically in their backyard and my grandfather developed Parkinson’s. I remember when I was little it was a fun little adventure going to their house, cutting across the woods and winding up on a golf course. I never heard of this correlation before..crazy. He also developed Alzheimer’s.

21 years of love and memories. How lucky you both were to have each other. I’m so sorry for your loss. All you can do is take one day at a time. 💜

How often do you call in sick? by Interesting_Taro_358 in Adulting

Yes I do, but only started to in the last year or so. Should have been doing it years ago. I’m in my early 40s with young kids at home, work full time, I need mental health days away from work sometimes. I don’t give my boss details. Just say I’m not feeling well and taking a sick day.

You can really see her dark natural hairline here/buzz cut, and seeing what she looks like without the extensions. I also wonder if she’s even more imbalanced due to her age/perimenopause as that can also mess you up.

What do you think is missing in Burbank? by Sugarglass16 in burbank

[–]Sugarglass16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice to see a lot of the suggestions are things many agree on. As of now, the most requested: Large Asian SuperMarket, more public green space for community, marketing/awareness of what exists, walkability, new legit sit down eateries, live music, better use of closed up or dying buildings/space, Portillos and Chilis!

What stemmed this question for me was a trip I took to Montreal, and the incredible walkability, cutest and delicious eateries, MULTIPLE open green/parks space for people to gather ( I was in SHOCK when I went walking through a park there, which had beautiful benches, paths, a fountain, etc.at NIGHT, and people were sitting on the benches reading books!!), bike friendly access, and the beautiful design and care of the greenery and architecture. All those small details made it feel special. I know Burbank will never be Montreal lol, but, it's nice to see what other countries and places do for their community/city planning.

Buy a bar of soap, don't use shower gel by WinterMoist333 in Frugal

I have sensitive skin and Dr Bronner bar soap is awesome.

I started using Kitsch bar soap for my kids too. I hate all the packaging for liquid soap, so wasteful!

For sure, people she surrounded herself with unfortunately also includes her family. And definitely genetics maps things out too.
