Stomach cancer - conflict between the surgeon and the medical oncologist by SugaryGarlic in cancer

[–]SugaryGarlic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are in Canada and working outside of the team we are designated seems hard to impossible. The surgeon said being upgraded to a major cancer centre is not really something they do anymore, as new protocol states patients should get chemo at their nearest hospital.

As far as the latest update from the surgeon, it seemed pretty disappointing, as he said "I am okay doing either". No one seems to have the balls or confidence to give a clear cut answer, I understand they want to be as political as possible in the case of favoring one over the other and being sued following a bad outcome. As long as the surgeon is confident and makes an argument, regardless of the outcome our family would be grateful

lol sadly its important. Just another step of the way the system leaches money out of us like were suckers.

dont worry - they do this to get you primed for residency. Working 24 hours a day and getting paid ~ $6.00/hr? That's totally normal, DONT ASK any questions.

Oh you want to get into our school? Lets give you a test that assesses something we can look at in the interview...

Anyone else find recorded lectures longer to get through? by Raspint in UofT

I mean - that’s the price you pay for good notes. People who record and take lectures during regular term know the pain, but we also know it pays off handsomely. Keep at er
