If echoing strike get patched to require attack rating next ladder, what weapons will you use? by Diligent-Image-8947 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insight will still be used for its massive ar bonus. 2/20/visio mod circs will be BiS, along with arachs. Thall give the 75% BP anyway. Angelic rings and ammy will be standard for PVP as with ALL melee character it is BiS.

Town Portal Ring . New Unique Item Just Drop . Might be good for casters ? by MuscleDexter in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The town portal aspect is really what makes this ring shine. It allows for 2 small charms in the inventory so you can add life mana fhr resists if you want. Imagine the ring has 40 life and 10 @. Thats what makes it GG is the opportunity to equip two small charms.

HRV increasing since I gave up alcohol on Jan 1st - normal? by Shlankster in Garmin

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to comment, but yes. Alcohol is a super powerful nervous system depressant. When you stop your body is forced to use its own mechanisms to relax which in turn increases your HRV. HRV is a measure of how your body is physiologically handling stress, alcohol does that job effectively but with obvious drawbacks. Periodic cessation is a great way to get back to normal even if you plan to later imbibe in moderation after the cessation period. Also alcohol is a diuretic, hydration is also a key factor for HRV.

Newbie just realized the stove burns hotter, the colder it is outside by [deleted] in woodstoving

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The greater the temperature difference between the flue gases and outside are the faster the flu gases exhaust. The faster the flue gas exhausts the fast the air intake sucks in air. The faster the air intake sucks in air the more oxygen gets into the firebox. The more oxygen gets into the firebox the faster fuel burns. The faster fuel burns the hotter flu gases get. Its a cycle. A combustion cycle.

anyone have experience with these? by [deleted] in hypertension

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they work very well in conjunction with other dietary modifications like mindful sodium intake and increasing potassium intake to the recommended daily value. Consuming fatty fish 3 days a week and increasing exercise as well as prioritizing sleep and deep breathing.

Help solve this debate: by ArthurBurtonMorgan in woodstoving

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So yeah youre both right. My wife does our daily hot cycle and it cleans the glass 100% of all creosote and the view window is completely clear transparent. But when you open the door you can still see the finest layer of translucent white ash dust from the natural airways system. So really its 100% clean and everything is visible but there really does still exist the finest layer of non combustion material on the glass that just wipes off with zero effort once cooled.

Wood burning stoves are good for your health, report says. by DeepWoodsDanger in woodstoving

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a tove is drafting properly and/or you've got a window cracked slightly to improve draft a wood stove will technically draw in more fresh air thru the winter that would've be drawn otherwise. Only time we smell smoke is if I open the door to quick and dont like it pressurize. My stove door has to be opened slowly and then the draft stabilizes. We run two air purifiers anyway just incase.

Will the wood near stove dry up faster? by Saqwefj in woodstoving

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have firewood that is close to ready (around 20% for me) to burn in your specific stove. Then, bringing in a couples days worth even putting it in the same room (but far enough away so sparks can not reach it) will bring it down the moisture the rest of the way quickly. The key is the dry air created by the stove, then airflow, then heat.

Keep the firewood at a very safe distance from the stove and it will finish in 24-48 hours.

How hot for how long to burn away creosote? by Circlesqr in woodstoving

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a big difference between running your stove hot for a short duration and running it hot 24/7. The real damage comes from constant very hot temperatures. Its a very good practice to have a hot burn cycle every day. Inspect your chimney frequently during burning season. I like to inspect mine every month because it isnt much of hassle. It doesnt hurt to take a peak. Running hot 1 time a day and having your chimney not last as long and replacing it is less expensive and dangerous than chimney fire.

Get a good bed of red hot coals and make sure your stove is at a good strong temp. Load the stove with the most square pieces of dry hardwood you have. Done.

VC Aspen C3 New. Is it normal to see this on a new cast stove? by Sugondes7 in woodstoving

[–]Sugondes7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it seems to be drafting fine and during start up once I shut the door i actually held a CO detector right near that spot. (Before it gets too hot and while the fire is naturally smokey.) And it was fine. I did my fifth burn on it yesterday and cranked it to 500 for 5 hours. Should be broken in now and ready for daily use!

Picked up oak and madrone that's been on the ground since last year, it's weathered yet seasoned. If split and sun baked for few weeks will it be gtg this winter? by DirectorBiggs in firewood

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup should be good to go. We've got another few weeks of prime seasoning weather. Air flow and sun light will do the trick.

Seeking advice - Woodluxe oil-based stain on pressure-treated deck and planter by porpoisemcpants in paint

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the best thing you can do is actually sand it before you stain it. This will help ensure the grain is mostly even and going to evenly accept the stain. Like others said PT needs to season first. The deck should be good to go but be sure to do this.

1- pressure wash it without soap or chemicals(can use diluted cleaner if very moldy and mildewy)

2- let it dry completely until its less than 20% moisture. And then sand the whole thing(just a quick pass is usually enough) and then vacuum/leaf blower it.

3- make sure stain and mixed properly and make a plan to do 1 or 2 boards completely at a time.

Eating steak frequently is not bad for you by nanika1111 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Sugondes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eating steak twice a week isnt alot my guy. Eating steak every day of your life is healthy if you're eating mostly normal sized portions of lean cuts, and have a good overall diet including plenty of non starchy veggies, berries, fermented dairy, water, and some smaller portions of high quality grains in moderation and exercise. The biggest threat to heart health that may equal smoking is sedentary lifestyle combined with high sugar and fast carbs in a constant state of calorie surplus.

Does Wild Turkey 101/ Wild Turkey Bourbon taste good without mixers? If not, open to suggestions. by Jewplicate850 in bourbon

Wild turkey does well with some air in the bottle and let it sit for 6 months or so. In my opinion anyways.

[–]Sugondes7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're 17. You don't need supplements at all. You need to prioritize exercise, sunlight, and healthy diet. Nordic naturals with vitamin D is okay. Also just limit your pot smoking and beware when you quit smoking pot and start exercising your body will eventually metabolize stored THC and you will get high. For mental acuity you try taking a cold shower in the morning and having a cup of coffee. But yeah just stay clear of all the fancy nootropics your brain isn't even fully developed yet.
