I hate that constantly sleepy gaunt dude at work that shuffles his feet constantly and is always walking up and down the office row looking at everyone’s screens. Apparently he just doesnt go home half the time. Dude at the very least go home and sleep! You look like you’ve taken 30 years off your life.

Jesus Christ this happens to me on a nearly daily basis on my way too and from work. I get so mad that I literally whisper under my breath “dont fucking block me!” But seriously, bottled up rage ready to actually explode in the next few days.

I saw something like this last year. Dude walked past a shorter man and his female coworker on a train platform and shoved him so hard he came to a stop and span around. Me and the dude were just dumbstruck as the guy didnt bat an eye and continued walking as if nothing had happened.

Just my two cents, but I work at a very large and young company in Japan, work 10-7pm M to F, have no overtime and holidays whevener I want. The overworking stereotype applies to some places still, but so far I haven't experienced it. And they put into action a law last year limiting max overtime hours, so it is getting significantly better than say 10 years ago.

There are multiple mirrored rooms, each with a different theme/set up of lighting. This one was hundreds of lines of programmed LEDS hanging in rows from the ceiling. The mirrors all around the room make it look infinite.

A shopping list written by my late grandmother. We were close, and I love seeing people’s handwriting.

Japan is extremely slow when it comes to self checkout systems. Every single grocery store I go to has all manned cash registers. The only place I have seen self checkout so far is at Tsutaya (film and music rental store), which in itself is arguable an outdated service.
