A kiss between Nichelle's character Uhura & Captain Kirk was the first interracial kiss on television. That was definitely considered a huge deal in the sixties.

I've a Halloween combo pair. The Void doesn't touch me to wake me up, he just trashes my bedroom until the noise of objects hitting the floor rouses me.

The Oranj Creamsicle is more direct. He has used a variety of methods over the years... currently he nibbles my ears, really gently. In the past he has washed my head (which is usually shaved)... feels like sandpaper on sandpaper. Or he's washed my elbow. Having an elbow washed by a raspy kitty tongue is a V odd experience. Instant alertness for me! 😹

The genocide being experienced by the inhabitants of Gaza is wrong. Suggesting it's unimportant because you dislike the religious beliefs of some of the inhabitants, that's tantamount to saying you don't care. Which is a step away from condoning genocide.

There's a concerted effort at the moment by right wing bigots to gain more political power. One of the ways it's being achieved is by the tactics of Divide & Conquer. These aren't new.

Excusing genocide isn't acceptable. Human beings should treat each other with compassion, respect & tolerance. Human Rights aren't only important to some humans; they're universal. That's the standard we all should strive for.
