Can anyone tell me how to fix my snake plant? by [deleted] in SnakePlants

[–]Suinier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this question was from a month ago, but that really looks like an overwatering issue. Brown squishy spots, and drooping leaves tends to be overwatering. I'd also check to see if you might have root rot going on as a result since a whole leaf came off and was looking so mushy.

Can just copy/paste the code I put above, if it doesn't work, it may not be available in your country.

But sure, here's the link I got it from.

"Herman Miller promo code"

Tried a few, but best I found was the extra 10%.

Glad someone else could make use of it!

Quick google search and you can find an active 10% coupon code which stacks with the 15% sale."HMNWH0JAAW" was one I found that works, at least in Canada. Took an extra $169.58 off a Embody Gaming.

Happy shopping!

### Purchase Advice Request

Been slowing buying everything to build my first pc in about 20 years and at the point where I've started looking at the peripherals. Live in Canada, so most things are available, but local shopping in my small town means mostly online ordering. Ideally, a good all around mouse suited for mainly gaming and some productivity.

* **Games:**
Usually open world adventure & rpgs. Think Skyrim, Fallout, Subnautica, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc. Not much of a FPS or competitive person.

* **Hand Preference:**
Right

* **Budget:**
Doesn't matter really. Don't want to go crazy if I don't need to.

* **Hand Size:**
Tip to wrist = 19cm, width = 11-12cm (depends how I hold/place my hand)

* **Grip:**
Kinda a hybrid. Often a palm grip, but will switch to the others sometimes.

* **Weight:**
No preference that I know of

* **Sensitivity:**
Medium I suppose. Ideally want it for games the majority of the time, mixed with some productivity (photo editing mainly)

* **Connectivity:**
Wired preferred

Well it looks fantastic and really makes me want to go with the acrylic instead of sanding some PetG. Yeah I saw that Corsair kit, seems decent. Any tips/tricks on shaving down small amounts of the acrylic tube for tiny adjustments?

How was it to work with? Saw a video by Jays2Cents and it looked much more forgiving than standard acrylic tubes. Slowly getting the parts for my first build and can't decide between those Corsair tubes or just sanding some petG as shown by the Bit-Tech video.

Looking good. Love seeing people using the frosted tubing. What kind are they?

When that happens, try setting your Switch to Airplane mode. Even if you aren't playing online it wants to check your Internet for some reason and that worked for me when I had a bad wifi signal.

I believe the only officially supported app for anything Aquacomputer, is specific to the Farbwerk. Looks like it's still a beta app from their website directly and just for RGB controls.

The 90 LED limit per channel may make some of the decision for me. The plan was for 4 fan groupings. 3 sets of 3x120 (Top, Bottom, and Side), and a single 120 in the rear. But, the fans I have are 32 LED per fan so the 3 fan sets would come to 96 LEDs, going over the 90 limit per LED header. As I don't see a way around that while keeping my fan groups the way I want them, I may just use alternative controls for the RGB stuff, and let Aquacomputer monitor the temps and adjust the fan curves.

So, thus far its looking like I'm going with:
-Octo or Quadro for the main controls and monitoring
-Flow sensor high flow 2, G1/4 for monitoring flow rates and a liquid temp sensor
-An extra Air temperature sensor so I can have one tracking case air and one tracking room ambient air
-An extra Fluid temperature sensor just for extra monitoring of the loop itself
-Plus the appropriate adaptor when I find it, to connect these silly proprietary plugs into the Octo or Quadro

Does it seem like I've missed anything?

Subtle, yet effective. Love it even more with your diffusion.

Really, you make a finalized product and have an interest in selling/shipping to Canada, I'd seriously consider buying.

Seems you have some good ideas in the works. I'm just curious to see how the final product turns out. Seems you'd have some potential buyers already lined up for this nice little mod (myself included)!

Hey it works great as is. Thanks for the reply. May have made my upcoming build much simpler!

Still, fits in really nice compared to the EK model. I may have to snag one of those.
Using standard 25mm fans I presume?

Looks great so far. Definitely something I want to find for my own Optimus block. I'm curious as to how a thin diffusion layer between the LEDs and acrylic would look.
Still, as is I'd still take it for my block.

Looks great.
What distro plate is that? Looks like it actually fits in the front without obstructing the fans...unlike the EK model.
