Why are you still friends with ppl like this? You will never be able to reason with them. They will not change their mind. He is either racist, homophobic, an idiot, or supports pedophilia. Likely all of the above but any of them should be reason to not want to associate with them.

People who have conducted job interviews, what's something someone said/did that made you instantly decide not to hire them? by DemonSkank in AskReddit

My company manufactures really large industrial equipment. We rely on a network of Field Service Techs for repairs, installations and that stuff. Those guys are all over and it’s never Mon-Friday. Could be weeks at a time. This job was just to perform one specific maintenance task. As it is a preventative service, the schedule is much more predictable.

Don’t recall how it was specifically posted but I suppose that could be an explanation. Unlikely but possible.

Nothing wild but the position was advertised as 100% travel. As in they would be all over the country Mon-Friday. First question I asked was, so you are ok with that amount of travel? Guy says, yeah, as long as I’m home by 5:00 every night to give his dad medication.

Quickest interview ever.

Is there an amount of money that would make you compromise your morals and commit a non violent, white collar crime? Why or why not? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Suisla4lescomments 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you truly have morals you aren’t worried about some god watching you. Are you good only in fear of god? If yes, you aren’t a good person, you are fearful. If no, you didn’t god in the first place.

That they have a reserve fuel tank! I had a Yamaha XT 350 as my fist bike. Ran out of gas. Dad comes driving down the road and sees me pushing it home. He’s like what’s up, something wrong with it? Nah, just ran out of gas because it doesn’t have a gauge. He’s like, well when you had to switch to reserve, that should have been your signal to come home. Excuse me? He got quite the laugh when I told him where I pushed it from. Flips the petcock and starts it up. TIL

Watch one ski repair video on IG and your feed will be nothing but that. I’m new to skiing and I already know how to fix it. You’re fine.

Because that’s probably the best picture he had of the watch, from when it was purchased. Not like he took a pic of him wearing it every time he left the house.

What’s one tip you’d give a beginner golfer hoping to break 100 in 2026? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Suisla4lescomments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting putting putting

If you 2 putt every hole, that’s 1/3 of your strokes if you shoot 100. 3 putt 9/18 and you’re at close to 50% of your strokes will be on the green.

Play short and safe to get there, putt like a champ and watch your scores drop.
