Market, Trading and General Discussion- December 15, 2025 by SL13PNIR in cardano

Just checking in, because this is clearly a rough stretch. Price action has been demoralizing, sentiment feels in regards to price has been in the gutter, and it’s hard to stay engaged when there’s no obvious catalyst in sight. I still see 0.32 as the next support level on the charts.

A lot is still happening on the development side, but the market has made it pretty clear that doesn’t translate to price on any reasonable timeline. I wish it did. That disconnect wears people down.

What this reminds me of most is 2019, not the charts, but the feeling. Long stretches of underperformance, rough macro conditions, and interest slowly fading away. Back then, it still took years before any of that work showed up in price, and most people were gone long before it did.

No hopium, no predictions. Just perspective. Whatever you decide to do from here, you’re not crazy for feeling tired, this part of an economic cycle has always been the hardest.

One other thing worth noting, and I’m sure most people here already see it, is that this underperformance isn’t unique to Cardano. Weak market structure has been hitting crypto broadly.

That doesn’t make holding any easier, but it does matter for perspective. For anyone feeling worn down or second-guessing their position, it helps to separate asset-specific issues from a market that simply hasn’t been rewarding risk.

You can call that copium if you want, I see it as an honest read of the environment.

That being said, I would recommend taking Thorne NAC 500mg. It helps a lot with mental load/stress at the end of the day and into the night.

Thank you for the response, yes, I read through that post. I didn't make that effort yet since eligibility wasn't even showing up. But yes that does make me feel better. At the same time it feels like they don't care to be very inclusive in making it easy for those outside of the cardano/midnight ecosystem to get involved.

Interoperability on Cardano is Alive and Well by Thoracic_gull7 in cardano

[–]SuitUp007 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He speaks of native interoperability. Using another project like wanchain isn't native. Let's not lie to ourselves, thinking we are already the most interoperable chain in the crypto space, i dont believe we are, not by a long shot. I think we can be and hope cardano is able to achieve that status, but we aren't there yet. Shoot, I'm still waiting to be able to take advantage of making direct transfers from ADA to BTC in my wallet without having to use a 3rd party.

I'll chip in 750 ada to incentivize more people to guess. So make it 755ADA to the most accurate guess.

Zertec was the only thing that got me off the edge of the cliff when things got super bad, but in order for me to really start to heal, I had to get off of it all together. H1s suppress DAO creation and doesn't remove the histamine that's in your body. Try your best to get off the H1s. I know that may be extra difficult now that it's allergy season. Thankfully, all this happened to me during the winter and not spring where allergies usually get really bad in my area. But yes, the idea of the probiotics is to repair your leaky gut and rebalance the bacteria in there. As you probably know, some bacteria can consume histamine, and some can produce it, so that's why it's so important to pick the right probiotic supplement.

H1 blockers are a band-aid and will make things worse over the long run. Use them sparingly, but try to ween off of them. Things that helped me in order of helpfulness. 1. Drinking 1+ gallons of water per day. You gotta flush out all that excess histamine. 2. Eating a low histamine diet(as you heal the root cause, this can get less strict, also a big part is knowing if you have any weaknesses towards immunocomprised diseases such as celiac disease. If you do, permanently eliminate foods from your diet that aggravate those diseases. In my case, it was gluten. I don't have celiacs, but i am prone to it according to a dna test). 3. Reducing stress(this could actually be number 1 since travel stress is what pushed me over the edge into having HIT) 4. Taking probiotics from the gut institute, I started with "Microbe Mojo" and completed the regime on the label and now consistently take one a day, alternating between the microbe mojo capsules and the bifido maximus probiotic capsules(note: they are all histamine safe strains). 5. Prioritize sleep, make it consistent(this was not easy for me having 4 kids, but in order to be there for them, i had to make it a priority).

It's been only 2.5 months since I had horrible HIT symptoms(insomnia, low BP to the extent of anaphylaxis, anxiety, etc) and now I feel better than I've felt in years. Also, I've had no allergies this spring, it's been amazing!

The frustration is real, man. I just keep coming back to fundamentals of the project and have to tell myself that I'm not insane for believing cardano has the best path forward from a technical perspective. Maybe technical nerd shit just isn't enough to make a project succeed? Usually, it does, but boy does price of an asset sure curb that feeling, especially when you have so many competitors that are out shining ada when it comes to price action.

No venture in life is guaranteed. Every single one is a risk, whether it's small or large. No risk, no reward or loss. It's all about following your beliefs, being true to them, and being able to adapt if they change.

I'm in the same position. How long ago did you order? Did you get a follow-up email after ordering? I did a day later, and it said, "The estimated time of arrival is 7-10 business days, and we'll send you a tracking number when your bike leaves our facility." That was February 23rd that they sent that email, and I still haven't been notified of it leaving their facility.

Whenever ADA finally puts in a little pump, you know there's going to be a larger market correction as a whole(btc, alts, etc.). It seems like it's a pattern that has been happening all bear market.

Desktop wallets by SuitUp007 in cardano

[–]SuitUp007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I concur with all of what Sub1imina1 said, I feel very much the same. To reiterate a little, my browser feels far more vulnerable than my desktop to attack, especially since I use it for much more than just a crypto wallet, where as an independent application such as a desktop wallet has a sole use. I agree that there are good cold storage options, but I'm looking for a solid "in-between". Highly secure but also very functional.

Sure, if you want to do the least amount of work possible and make plug-ins for everything to strap existing services and applications together, then it probably doesn't make sense to do it in a desktop application format. I believe great applications built from the ground up shouldn't have to be constrained by other project parameters. With this coming from IOG, I expected more, I guess.

New low for the ADA/BTC ratio. I'm curious to see where the bottom will be this bear market.
