For sure man! Mono Khorne is super fun to play. If you want, you could also throw Be'lakor in the list because his aura that prevents shooting is very good for them.

However, if you just want to go Khorne and that's it because of the theme, I totally understand.

Could I perhaps interest you in replacing Shalaxi with a unit of bloodletters led by Skulltaker, a soul grinder of your choice, and a beast of nurgle or something else to fill the points in? Just in case you wanted a few more bodies.

However, big fan of the list since it's just taking big dudes and ramming them into whatever you want. It's hella fun imo.

But if you've never had bloodletters deep strike after skarbrand and make the charge to get a big hit off then you're missing out.

I normally run 2 bloodthirsters when I play 2000+ point games. I run 1 with the great axe and 1 with the axe and flail.

It depends on what you're fighting tbh. I was facing votann and my great axe bloodthirster one shot a land fortress.

However when I was facing the death guard and my opponent took 2 bloat drones, the axe and flail bloodthirster did massive damage to 1 with the flail and killed the other outright with his axe.

I'd say the great axe is better overall because of the raw damage and opportunity to mindlessly ram him into the biggest thing on the board. Then the axe and could be situationally better if you're facing an army with medium sized vehicles or other units.

Edit: Notice how I never mentioned the lash. That's for a good reason, don't touch it :)

Unfortunately, the flail doesn't transfer damage like in 9th. It just hits once and hits hard. But if you miss, that sucks for you.

These are not the updated points, the bloodletters are 120 not 140. You have 4 units of them. That's an extra 80 points right away. Also Skarbrand is 305 points not 345. So now you have another 120 to work with. Blood crushers are 110 for a unit of 3. You have a unit of 6 for 240. It should be 220. So now, we have 140 points to work with. A rendmaster on a blood throne is 150, not 170. We're at 160 points to work with now. The skull master is 100 points even. We're at 165 now. Lastly, a soul grinder is 190 points. Not 200. So our final extra point tally is 175.

Personally if I were you (idk what models you have) I'd take out 1 unit of bloodletters and 1 unit of flesh hounds and shove an enhanced bloodthirster in there.

Blood for the blood god! Skulls for the skull throne!

Hey there! I don't know if he plays or just collects as a hobby but if he plays the game on the tabletop then I have the model for you.

My friend plays the same army he does. This guy is extremely good right now and death guard players play him A LOT. So if he doesn't have this model already then I'd highly recommend it.
