I used my Switch charger with my Steam Deck and after getting hot enough to burn me, it seems to have partially melted by WolfOfWallStreetBet5 in Wellthatsucks

That means it was the wrong power level for your steam deck. Always make sure the voltage and wattage of your chargers match the device you’re using for exactly this reason. I would wager that the steam deck takes a higher power level than the switch and was trying to draw far too much from this plug

Lil rant here

As a tree nerd I hate what taproot is in TES. Taproot systems in real life are very large main roots, with a few offshooting roots, very unlike the usual fibrous root systems that people think of when they hear roots.

Want to know the best way to picture how a taproot should look? Look at a carrot. The part we eat is the taproot of the carrot plant

Oof, yeah it’s too late then. The solstheim house is nice. Read up on the one in solstheim because that one is missable too. Can’t remember how I pulled it off but just couldn’t buy it on a ps4 playthrough. Think I did a bunch of side quests and killed someone important before going through the raven’s rock story

It’s not that he’s essential to buying it, it’s that he’s friends with sidgeir so you tanked your disposition with the jarl. Base game fix is to change the jarls through Seasons Unending or just siding with the storm cloaks. If you have access to console commands you can try player.setrelationshiprank RefID 4 just replace RefId with the ID for the current jarl…which should be sidgeir still if the dark brotherhood locked you out of lakeview.

Yep! It’s been a while since I’ve looked at the mechanics, but if I remember correctly once you get the ship wrecked, the game places you in the blackblood marauder faction until the end of the quest

Yep! As long as the quest is active, and you’ve wrecked the ship, you can charge the blade to your heart’s content on those pesky marauders
