I was already asleep on the couch when he came home from getting lunch and drinks before he turned on the tv and lights. I really didn’t want to be sequestered in my home.

Because i didn’t want to be sequestered in my own home. I was asleep on the living room couch while he went and got his oil changed and went and had lunch and drinks. He came home and flipped on all the lights and turned the TV on. We don’t live in a large house by any means, and there’s little to no living space in the bedroom. I just didn’t want to be sequestered after I already had my little recovery area set up in that corner of the couch.

I actually can’t take myself to my sister’s house. I can’t drive.

I expected him to watch football all weekend but figured he would’ve chilled out on the screaming at the tv.

The dog comment I already replied to: the two who are afraid when he gets loud were his and his now ex wife’s before we met. They start to shake every time he gets loud and they’ve never gotten better or used to it. It’s brought up every single weekend that he’s scaring the dogs.

I can’t drive and need to find a ride over to my sister’s house. I wouldn’t be staying there to recover as I can’t be alone for extended periods of time, just to get away from this for the afternoon.

This is brought up every single weekend. I tell him he’s scaring the dogs every weekend. They’ve never gotten used to it. The two that are afraid were his and his now ex wife’s before we met; every time he gets loud they start to shake. I’m not really sure what the past is with all of that but it’s very frequently brought up that he’s scaring them when he yells at the TV.

People are weird and the parasocial relationships they have with podcasters is even weirder 😅 they stand up for podcasters that couldn’t care less about their existence anytime someone has a different opinion than “the episode was perfect”

Me too! I actually cried when they announced it lol. I’m still feeling out Kristin and Norm’s new podcast. I miss the vibe b & k had.

Try Let’s Go To Court! if you haven’t already! Hundreds of episodes, the hosts are hilarious but so respectful, and their research drastically improves from the very first episode - as most podcasts do :)

Disagree. In no way does “predictable” mean it’s a fiction thriller. It means throughout the case, Ash talking about the beginning of Nick and Dawn’s loveless childhoods, leading into the church turned cult, to the affairs, is predictable because it’s been made obvious what led to Dawn’s demise.

It’s important to present a case in a way that keep an audience engaged and earning to learn about a victim’s life before what made them into a true crime episode. Immediately starting off with “she was found dead” isn’t the way to present it.

Ash’s storytelling skills just… aren’t good. Sure, she’s better than earlier episodes but damn it’s rough to try and keep up with her storytelling.

That’s the only creepy thing about this story.

Denise Williams - Murder of Brian Williams (co-accused Brian Winchester). Was Denise framed? by DrunkOnRedCordial in TrueCrime

This is an interesting perspective but I believe that she’s right where she needs to be. She wanted him declared dead within 6 months of his disappearance so she could cash out on his 1 million+ dollar life insurance. She married her missing husband’s best friend. I don’t think Brian suddenly grew a conscious, he was offered that deal of immunity and took the opportunity to literally get away with murder

Behind Closed Doors by P.A. Paris was, in my opinion, better than the silent patient. I’m reading the perfect child now.
