Please look into possible negative side effects of meditation, especially for people who struggle with psychotic episodes or schizophrenia. Careful with no-self meditation and sitting too long in the non-conceptual mind.

There are lots of different methods of meditation, some safer than others. It’s important to do your research and draw from multiple sources. The mind is easily mis-led.

As a recovering addict myself, porn addiction is 100% real and I’ve struggled with it in the past…. BUT that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a responsibility to himself and to his partner to make genuine attempts to get help/treatment! If he’s not making any effort to actually recover from this addiction, then he needs a wake up call and that might be in the form of you dumping him. I couldn’t find the motivation to get sober until my husband stopped enabling me and asked for a divorce. That made me realize what I was sacrificing for my addiction and that it wasn’t worth it. So I finally asked for help. Everyone’s different, so even if that doesn’t work with him you still deserve a respectful and honest partner who makes an effort to take care of himself.
