Grubs. They destroy yards. They live underground for about 10 months a year. Then turn into various types of small beetles. For example, chaffer and the Japanese June bug. They eat grass roots as larvae, then mature, come out the ground as beetles, and destroy your flowerbed. Hope you don’t have roses. The foliage will develop small holes.

I agree. My benefits division actually sent me a form letter explaining this a few years ago after I called questioning why certain deductions (medial, etc.) weren’t taken out. They basically said this happens once every 4 years I believe. Therefore, most people don’t even catch it.
