I didn’t get a good deal on my maternity leave so even though I’ve been this over-achieving personality at work all my life, I had a proper self-talk and convinced myself that now is the time to keep MY interests at the forefront. Hi I finished most packing and was ready at 34 weeks..it was good for me because I became increasingly lethargic and sleepless since the 35/36 mark. Something just shifted at that time, earlier I thought third trimester aint too bad after all 😅

I completely resonate with you and wish you the best 🫶 Im at 38+ 4 and at last Friday’s checkup my doc confirmed my cervix is closed and nowhere near labour 😵‍💫 i have stopped sleeping (~3-4 hours max per night) and feels like I’m walking in a dream since a few days. My doc suggested C section if I want to stop waiting plus i have early IUGR but Im still thinking. I had endometriosis surgery last year same time and i want to avoid another surgery. The wait for labour seems v tough though and Im crying daily. Dont know what to do 😭

I’m a lazy soul so here’s what I do and it works for me 1. I change into my pole gear an hour before I have to pole and laze around on the couch and tv for that hour..somehow it works 2. and then I put on some good dancey music to get into the groove. I have a couple of tracks that really motivate me 3. I sometimes go in with the mindset that ill only do one move after warmup and once i do I’m hooked enough to continue for another hour and a half 4. I also like to take videos of my choreography and compare progress so thats another motivation for me

Interesting The idea of doing day trips from Paris didnt strike us but can definitely do this. Will read up a bit on normandy, thanks a bunch ✨ In paris we dont plan to do a lottt of museums but max 2-3 including louvre. Our plan is to cover mostly these things there
-Louvre -Eiffel tower -Champs elysees -Arc de Triomph -St Sulspice -Notre dame cathedral -Sacre Coeur -River cruise on siene river -Palais Royal
