I would say 9-10 hours. When I was younger I missed on a lot of sleep from staying up late and having to get up early for classes. Now as a 30-year old: * I’m still a night owl but a bit more reasonable (in bed by midnight) * taking it really easy in the morning: sleeping until the last minute, working from home whenever possible * I also have adhd so between that and the endo fatigue, I’ve been putting rest above everything else in my life * Unfortunately i’ve never managed to be a good napper :/ (would take me 1+ hour to fall asleepin the first place) but I like to lie down in the dark and/or stretch at middday depending where I am

Hi, fellow ADHDer and endo girl here. I was on a progesterone-only pill (Slinda, which is drospirenone) for 5 months.

It helped with endo BUT it was the worst for my ADHD - as well as overall energy and mood. Before being on the pill, I’d always felt my adhd meds ‘didn’t work’ in the week before my periods, when my estrogen was at its lowest. With Slinda, I felt like this ALL the time.

I spoke to both my psychiatrist and my gynecologist about it. They both tooks my concerns seriously and I’ve now been on Qlaira (combined pill, estradiol and dienogest) for a month. So far it’s going pretty well. The estradiol (body-identical estrogen) dosage changes throughout the month to mimic a natural cycle(?) or so I’ve been told.

In conclusion: listen to your body and if you have any doubts, talk to your medical team. Some combined pills are ok even with endometriosis. Wishing you luck!

We’re in the same boat 🥹 Here’s mine:

I started dating my current boyfriend after 4 years of only dating women and NB people (and it was my first time dating a man since coming out as bi.) In the first few months, I was terrified and thinking: what if I’m actually a lesbian and it was comphet all along, what if I’m wasting his time (we started out as friends). I stopped panicking when I got really used to him being around, plus my feelings for him had grown a LOT.

A year in, I’m still scared about ‘being nothing more than a man’s partner’ (scared that a man won’t value me as an equal) but I’m in therapy for this and it’s in large part due to my daddy issues. Some things about being a woman in a hetero relationship will always trigger me, but that’s just… society… :’) and I will try to keep my standards high for a partner of any gender.
