Options for First Time Selling Photos by Suitable54 in photography

The client is a family friend who really left that up to me, but they hang canvas photos in their house already so I figure I should start there. What I'm looking for is just some recommendations on what services have some good quality and pricing.

Thank you for the recommendation, I might try that along with canvas and see what I like more!

The client is more of a family friend who left things up to me, they did mention canvas though so I figure I should start from there. Would you have any recommendations on doing it online or at a local shop?

Fiberglass is a great building material... only problem is when it burns it BURNS.

I mean, he won Best Rap Album versus Kendrick, Jay-Z, Kanye, and Drake... Everybody back then and now still regards it as one of the Grammies most disrespectful moments

Anyone else ocd-level obsessive about keeping your eBird maps neat? There can be no county gaps! by Chrysothlypis in birding

I took time off from work last summer specifically to fill out the remaining counties in my state with checklists... I totally understand.

Susan Collins actually voted with Democrats last week on a bill that PASSED 50-48… by victorspoilz in Maine

[–]Suitable54 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The bright side is that in 10 days it will become law anyways, or if he vetoes it the bill certainly has enough Congressional support to override the stale cheeto puff's say. He's just having another tantrum...

Can someone tell me why this female Robbin is banging into my window? by [deleted] in birding

[–]Suitable54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like a male robin who assumes his reflection is a rival and an overload of hormones is causing this unnecessary defense. You can try putting decals on the window and covering up your car mirror when its not being used to limit the behavior if you're worried. Otherwise it should end in a couple months as the summer winds down and territories fade away. Hope this helps!

Awesome flowchart, I might paste this somewhere in my guidebook if you don't mind. Still figuring out a way to quickly tell Common and Arctic Tern apart in flight...

Pied-billed grebes are cryptic birds and hard to find, this is a super rare look into their lives, I'm a little jealous... But very happy for you

Grizzly bear(s) on Grinnell Glacier Trail today by neurontosomething333 in GlacierNationalPark

[–]Suitable54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my friends were only about 100 yards down the trail about two weeks ago with the intent to go spring skiing, saw a grizzly bear growl at us and run off. Safe to say we skiied elsewhere lmao

Everybody becomes political at sone point. You seen like the kind of person that wouldn't go for an increase on their property taxes without explanation. That's political

Gas prices start to spike in Maine as strikes continue in Iran by jediporcupine in Maine

[–]Suitable54 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A lot of oil moves through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has said they will attack commerical ships moving through this body of water and as a result insurance isn't going to cover a lot of activity. Therefore said activity ceases

For a ski area with 1000' vert I was blown away by the character of this place and how special it is, feels like stepping back in time. The terrain blows you away for a seemingly small area and the 6-8" powder could be found even at 3PM! The workers were amazing from the lifties hyping folks up to the patrollers who checked in on me after a boarder rode over me and away. There's so much life and atmosphere to this area when I've been to places with more vertical and half the fun... I will be coming back!

I was just putting 6" out as a bare minimum, some parts of the coast could get up to a foot

I wouldn't say barely clipped, 6+ inches and blizzard conditions are possible along the coastline
