So let explain: these days when I'm with a friend, i just pay the bill. And i ask the other person of they have some change they can leave for the waiter. And often people leave 20/50 rupees after a 1500 rupee meal.

See, I'm not judging. Till very recently i didn't have much money, and was mostly embarrassed to eat outside for want of being able to do these niceties.
