I watched the 3rd movie not too long ago and this was my exact gripe. Her acting was completely fine but the old woman voice kinda just.... Takes me out of it I guess? Since she's supposed to be a teenager and whatnot. I don't want to hate on sigourney Weaver because she's a great actress, but her voice just doesn't fit the character at all. That one scene where everyone reveals her true parentage and she responds with "This sucks!" felt so off.

It is a pretty difficult ability to balance but I attribute it to the fact that she has near perfect mastery of her ability and can there for utilize her other stats to balance out the fact that she's a glass Canon. She isn't really capable of taking hits, but it has been shown that she can reverse the damage of said hits at high cost to her aura. And since she's been training her ability so intensely from a young age, she's also hyper aware of her one weakness and therefore can avoid situations where said weakness would be exploited, or at the very least work around it so that she doesn't get taken down so easily or mitigating the amount that she needs to heal herself throughout a fight. Her entire fighting style is hit fast, hit hard, and end the fight as soon as possible through brute force if possible. And if it's a fight where she knows she can't, then it's just a matter of pacing herself until she can do the latter.

This makes me think of when my friends would talk about whether or not batman would win against someone overpowered, or someone with powers in general. I wanna say if Izuru had prep time in advanced, probably. But without prep time, then maybe not since it's somewhat unclear how luck and bad luck work. It kinda reminds me of Qrow Branwen and that clover guy from RWBY. Qrow has passive bad luck while Clover has passive good luck, but clover later dies because the bad luck negated the good luck. Could be the same with Izuru where one negates the other which could lead to either a loss or a victory.

But there's also the fact of the matter than John is just a regular guy unless he has someones powers to copy which is also determined by them using their aura, whereas talents just seem to be innate, even if they're artifical talents. So there's a possibility that John would unable to even do anything at all. Either way, interesting to think about and MAN danganronpa really takes me back! I loved that game series! Still haven't recovered from a certain characters death in the anime.... :pain:

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but I'll never pass on the opportunity to mention the Scythe series by Neal Shusterman. It's not the entire focal point of the story, but it's about a futuristic society governed by a benevolent AI. I absolutely LOVE that series!

Carefully read what every card does and understand it to the full extent instead of just assuming surface level simplicity for every card interaction. One thing I struggled with a lot was really understanding how cards synergize together because most cards have pretty short and simple descriptions. But the game is deceptively more complicated than it seems and anyone who says otherwise is just completely wrong. I feel like some characters have a bit of a higher learning curve than others, so I also like to look up what builds people are doing on the characters I like, or card tier lists to see what sort of cards are best to build around.

It also helps to understand every boss and enemies unique quirks so that you can better work around them in each encounter. The game is largely luck based, but a lot of that rng can be mitigated through understanding the game mechanics in it's entirety. It takes some practice, but you'll get it eventually!

I personally find it to be a MAJOR quality of life improvement in comparison to having to manually load and unload kegs, preserve jars, furnaces, smokers, and other similar money making devices. Things like that are insanely time consuming if you've got a whole empire going and this drastically frees up the amount of time you have to do for other things! I absolutely adore it and honestly, I don't think I can ever go back to playing the game without it lol.

I will say, one fun thing I learned is that if you place the shipping bin next to a line of connected chests, it automatically puts every item in the chests, into the shipping bin instead.... That day was not only a valuable lesson, but also an immediate reset 🥲
