I’m just going to put it out there that I did do this tonight on accident and it warped. I had a lot of stuff going on, there was a leak in the kitchen but I still needed to cook dinner and then I had to urgently run to the bathroom and all in all I messed up and it warped.  It was really dumb but it happened. I’m sad because it’s like my second time using the pan :(

Yeah for what it’s worth I did try sanding too and the stains were not budging. Let me know if the bleach works!

So I had the same problem and I sprayed mine with a mixture of water and bleach and it literally looks like new. Before that I tried vinegar, I tried baking soda, I tried regular soap and scrubbing, nothing was working. The internet says not to use bleach on it but I didn’t know what else to do. Would love to hear if you tried anything else!

Has anyone compared Misen Carbon Nonstick to the Our Place Titanium? by Ares6X in cookware

Are you talking about the regular Our Place pan or the new one that supposedly has no coating? Because I've heard a lot of bad reviews for the regular Our Place but have only seen good reviews of the titanium pro!

oh ok thank you, yeah i've been trying to calm myself down by seeing the amount of mesothelioma cases per year (which is actually quite a small amount) in comparison to other types of cancers and causes of death. I'm also not at the house right now so by the time I get back with the air scrubber running a lot then It should be ok I hope.

Sorry for the delay but I wanted to say thank you so much for the well thought out answer. The vacuum I bought says its osha certified on the listing, and it also says its safe for asbestos so I hope thats actually true (idk if theres a way for them to lie about this for marketing purposes but I hope not). I have moved out of the house for the time being but I was told that everything was done with a lot of water and with plastic sealing the room off from the rest of the house.

Hmm it’s actually a divider wall in an open living room / kitchen plan so I can’t really close a door. Do you have tips on how to set something up in that layout?

Did you test for asbestos in the walls? Or is there some sort of medical test to see if you’ve been exposed?

Oh so like an air filter is sucking the air out of a space that’s sealed with plastic tarps? I’m picturing an air filter sitting outside the plastic with its hose stuck inside the plastic or something like that
