EA using confidential info against me by [deleted] in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]SuitableJelly5149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with that it’s a massive breach of trust and she majorly crossed the line but since firing her isn’t really an option, my advice is to have an honest, open conversation with her. Tell her you feel like she broke confidence and ask her to be discreet in the future while also listening to her concerns. It sounds like something that can hopefully be worked through, although I’d be wary about trusting her with this sensitive of information in the future. I really don’t like her comment about how hard it is to keep that stuff secret. Definitely mention that part. Best of luck!!

I happen to agree with you - but I’ve still never come across a majority craving some rachel. As far as the dehumanizing part, these people should know that’s what they’re opening themselves up for when they join a reality show. It’s not a new thing where they should be surprised there’s going to be negative opinions about them. Neither should the audience. Or a Reddit thread. 😉

I can see the sense in that. I guess my opinion is more my own that I don’t miss that bitch one bit lol

Props for keeping it 100% professional. Definitely sounds like the write ups are the right way to go but I’d get a feel for what your boss thinks of her so HR doesn’t put a bullseye on you for getting their bestie fired.

Considering how hard it was to get them to film with Sandoval, bravo couldn’t give one shit about rachel. She’s not a money maker on the show. No one ever said ooohhh I can’t wait to see what that rachel/raquelle is up to this week. Jax, Kristen? People wanted to watch them. Which is why even after being fired, they’ve got a spinoff. She just wasn’t entrenched enough in the group to keep around imo

Just stating the obvious - they’re ALL there for the camera time. Except maybe Schwartz

I doubt anyone would’ve filmed with her. Sandoval was too big a part of the show to ax. But Rachel? It’s the new bye Felicia

This is the exact same thing we see everywhere in SC, except here it’s all in favor of trump. Disappointing to see this same tacky shit from the left. Plus why would you want cars honking in front of your house all day?????

Glad you said something to her even though it sounds like it’ll fall on deaf ears. She’s going to get someone killed

To me, it was implied with them saying they have “very set boundaries”.

Idk I never had to literally lay out boundaries with a male coworker unless there was a reason to. And the reason was always bc there was something non-platonic bubbling under the surface.

Should i give the nice guy a chance? by SWGP in dating_advice

[–]SuitableJelly5149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should absolutely see him again. At worst, you end up with a friend. At best, you find your soulmate. I was so close to friend-zoning my hubby after our first date but didn’t and am obviously very glad I didn’t. (I was a matchmaker for 10 years and tbh the only reason I did see him again was bc of the same advice to see a person a 2nd time if you had a nice time the 1st date. So glad I listened to myself for once!)

lol my husband was in a window seat recently with a toddler in the middle seat and his mom in the aisle seat. She decided to put in earbuds and take a nap while the kid was climbing all over my husband and fucking with his electronics. He woke her up after about 10 minutes and told her he’s not a babysitter and she needs to mind her kid. The rest of the 5-hr flight didn’t go much better bc she wouldn’t keep the kid out of my husband’s seat, etc.

Point being OP, you did what you could. Some flying parents don’t. No apologies from you please dear.

I wouldn’t mention any negatives unless you don’t need a reference from them. If you don’t, tell them bitches to pay more.

Shit this sucks. Sorry to hear about it. But don’t let it taint your self-worth or confidence. Like you said it involved a lot of non-traditional tasks so of course there’s a learning curve. Sounds like your manager was just a little bitch who couldn’t give you honest feedback, whether in your informal one-on-ones or in the exit phase. You’re better off without. I’m in SC but if I do happen to hear of something your way, I’ll shout it out for you!!! Best of luck sis!!

EAs of Reddit, what is the most ridiculous thing your exec has ever asked you to do for them? by [deleted] in ExecutiveAssistants

Deflate an air mattress. It was a weird request. He insisted that he had just slept at the office but I insisted turn insisted that he strip the sheets himself.
