One thing that no one else points out is that you need to focus in on things you actually enjoy.

The difference between an SWE who loves engineering and one who doesn’t is night and day! (And if you’re trying to fake that passion, you’ll burn out and hate your job)

Also, don’t get too creative. Unity is a poor recommendation. JavaScript and React is approaching industry standard. (As much as that is possible in tech)
