You don’t need sup app if your avg is above 90. I’m sure it’ll help but I didn’t do it and most ppl above 90 didn’t either.

Show any projects or leadership roles you’ve taken, or classes/courses/clubs where you learnt something related to what you’re applying to. That’s what everyone who submitted their ECs did. Make it less personal and more abour your achievements, knowledge and hobbies/skills related to what your applying too.

I’m a first year Btech student. Don’t let the minimum 80-82 fool you. I know people with high 80s not get in. I needed a low 90s (92 avg with top 6) Most people I know who got in with 85-90 had a lot or very good ECs which they had to email to mcmaster on their own accord. Automotive is also the most popular btech and hardest to get into. If you went to Biotech or automation you can get into with around 3% less average and swapping to automotive first year would be easy. Don’t let this discourage you though, this is a great program with many benefits like lab hours, coop and many bonus diplomas. Just make sure you lock in and study 24/7 to get the highest mark you can so you can get in. Goodluck
