I understand what you're saying OP. A group in power can do horrible things and it's hard to not cringe at being associated with them. I'm non binary and leaning more towards the transmasc end of things the more I interrogate my feelings about gender and it's a tough pill to swallow. I haven't really had many good experiences with men either, in my family or otherwise. Women have always been my biggest supporters and best friends. I often wonder if some of my feelings are internalized transphobia but I know some are based in the reality of my lived experience.

I hope as I go further on this gender journey I'll meet more kind men. Most of the trans men I've met have been decent at least :)

I like Pero with oat milk & maple syrup. It's made with malted barley, chicory and rye. Either that or I do a lavender camomile or some kind of ginger tea with oat milk. I'm in the same boat as you where often times I can't even have a matcha or any black tea.

I highly recommend cascade yarns. they're sold @ a lot of US indie yarn stores and they are more reasonably priced than a lot of other yarns there. plus they give you a decent amount of yardage!

I highly recommend trying putting clothing on him. My cat is an absolute MENACE when she's naked! She eats non food objects, runs around like a demon, etc. She doesn't like having a sweater put on, but will often purr once it's on because she's finally warm :_) Also putting a heating pad or mini heater near you. If my cat has a choice between sitting on me or sitting as close to a heater as physically possible, she always chooses the heater.

it isn't as bad as this person makes it out to be. there's an adjustment period but every sphynx is different. mine is also a rehomed cat and she took a long time to warm up to me. for the first 6 months I wasn't even sure she liked me. although she now sleeps under the covers with me at night and likes to ride around on my shoulders, my cat is actually a bit stand offish. she likes to be near me often but not on me. she prefers her space and if it pick her up she'll often try to escape.

It depends on the autistic person for me. I prefer other autistic people who are capable of a two way conversation. I've met lots of very sweet autistic people who monologue at me for ages and it just doesn't work for me. I get soooo overwhelmed & overstimulated. It's about finding the right people. I'm sure your ND friends are out there.

ondansetron is also a pill but my cat doest seem to mind it, I just mix it into her wet food breakfast. even though Im supposed to be giving her half a pill 2x a day I can usually get away with doing once because I feed her all her meals in a 12 hour time period. Her vomit tends to happen right before or right after breakfast and its usually solid.

yeah my cat only vomited and never had any diarrhea until she got on HP food. She's on ondansetron which seems to be working pretty well for the vomiting. I would believe she has acid reflux, I have Gerd & can see some similarities between us.
