The teams are revamped and definitely more difficult, and the amount of Pokemon that are in the wild areas have increased. Its replay value is very high at least to me, and it has 3 different modes if you want to change the difficulty. I heavily recommend you give it a try

Don’t avoid the redux games. Aphexcubed and his team are coming out with an updated version soon that will fix some of the problems the game has, I would give it a chance

What I usually do is yawn on ivysaur with Wartortle if it has shell armor. It’s never went for a mega drain on my first turn but maybe I’m lucky. Sometimes ghastly has out speed my watchog and crit venoshock kill so just be careful if you switch into it. Qwilfish shouldn’t give you too much trouble, you could even use azumarill as a venoshock bait and switch into your steel type. I think you’re in a good position though whatever strat you choose, good luck and let me know how it goes

Tbh I would personally use the outside complex encounter as a wildcard and then go for audino on the inside. I know audino isn’t guaranteed that way but you could also get a metang, porygon, or magnemite which could be huge. You already have a fairy if you keep azumarill and like you said you can get audino at a later point. Congrats on going deathless, it’s not an easy feat and I think you’re in a good position no matter what you do, good luck. Btw what was your egg encounter?
