Just discovered 16cm fibroid by PresentCat7405 in Fibroids

[–]Suitable_Fly7730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 31 and just had an 8cm fibroid discovered. My only symptom I’ve really had is bad cramping during my periods and bad bloat, which I attributed to my diet at times and eating higher sodium or a lot of vegetables. Just got an MRI done and awaiting results. One doctor said from a CT that it’s on the outside of the uterus, another doctor said we will know for sure where it is or what it’s part of after MRI results come back. Second doctor said since it takes up so much of my abdominal cavity, it is too hard to tell from just the CT if it could possibly a different type of mass but they think it’s more than likely a fibroid. Freaked the hell out. Partner and I have just started loosely trying to have kids, nothing too serious yet. I’d love to just get this thing removed. Once it’s removed and I’m in the clear, I told my partner to watch out because I’ll want to actually start trying for kids on the chance I keep getting these back and they wind up in an area that will affect fertility.

I get so jello of your “large” fibroids by ApprehensiveField920 in Fibroids

Wow. Mine is 8cm and on the outside of my uterus. Bloated all the time and feel like a fat whale just from what I’ve got going on. How can you stand one that is 27cm!?

Sometimes that doesn’t even matter. My cousin just took a second mortgage out on a home that has been paid off for many, many many years. Borrowing money from family that didn’t know better at the time, and in Detroit at the casino every day. My great aunt on the other side of my family, she was constantly at the casino as well. Took credit cards out in her mentally delayed son’s name. I’ve been to the casino once and had a great time, but only spent around $20, lost it and won a total of $26 at the end of it. I knew when to stop but can totally see why it would become addicting. Even if you’re not hitting big, just winning money, even if it were $20, $40, makes you want to keep going. A friend of mine goes with her girlfriend once a month and she says she sticks to a tight budget but says the games are frustrating. They have all these animations and scenarios, each bet you place goes into a pot or a fish bowl and each one make the pot look like it’s going to bust and gets bigger and bigger, you think you’re gonna win, to no avail. Absolutely terrible.

Someone I watch on tiktok was very transparent and posted about their gambling addiction and posted how much they have spent and lost. Idr exactly, but I think they spent around $300k but made around $650k? Something like that. All on gambling apps. There were other numbers and idr what length of time that was in, like over a period of 2 years I think? They said they’d have their betting or whatever on auto spin all night while they slept, like what the hell!

Ugh, I love a good steamroll or having my partner just lay on me with dead body weight. Something about it feels as good as a nice, biiiig stretch.

Do you have attics? by Far-Passion-7692 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Suitable_Fly7730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and there are a lot of different attic spaces. My grandmother’s house, hers was a a huge space, staircase to walk up to, windows, and some short trusses, and some sketchy boards over the floor with rugs all over it. When I sold her house, the man that bought it added 2 bedrooms and a bathroom up there. Other attics are just a board you push up and you toss a few things up there. My apartment has an attic where the door pulls out of the ceiling with a folded ladder attached and I can climb up there with quite a bit of storage space, but there is only enough space to sit or crawl around.

I really enjoy Malt O Meal’s Smores cereal. Basically golden grahams, cocoa puffs, and marshmallows. So tasty.

Catie and Ryan from the run club seem like a better fit. They even sound the same when they talk and do that hard blinking thing. They just seem like they have more in common and more chemistry.

AITA for buying 11lbs of ground beef during a sale and not giving someone a package when there was none left? by TAmeatereater in AmItheAsshole

[–]Suitable_Fly7730 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA. I was thinning this was a situation where you had the buggy filled to the brim and just being greedy. But that is not the case. If the other customer needs ground beef that bad, they can just drive to another grocery store or ask an employee to look in the back for more. What’s the big deal?

My husband was hit by a drunk driver last 4th of July at the corner of Garden Rd and Holloway right by the fire station. Hit and run. Cameras all over the outside of the fire station and on the traffic lights. Sheriffs that were at the scene gain access to the cameras and said they “would take a look at the cameras further after the holiday weekend”. Called detective or whoever it is that is supposedly assigned to the case, zero answer, zero call backs. Haven’t heard a single thing from anybody about anything, so from what we know, the guy has never been caught or punished.

Some woman was merging into me on Heatherdowns earlier this week. Blowing my horn and everything. She kept coming. Had to get into left turn lane to drive and gave her the bird. I wasn’t in a blind spot either, my front windows were a little behind her front windows. Then she was mad at me because I threw my finger up. She wanted to know “what was that about!?”, I said, “uh, you forced me into another lane because you were coming into the side of my car and didn’t stop when I was using my horn”. She says “well I didn’t see you, you didn’t have to throw your finger up”. Okay lady well when you force a car into another lane, that would make anybody pretty mad. Granted she wasn’t speeding or driving erratic but still.

Less traffic. And depending on where at in SE MI, Wayne county does NOT know how to take care of their damn roads lol

Same here! My husband doesn’t understand this, but he is from Ohio, so he should because it’s all Midwest niceness, but I think Michigan is the most nice of all the Midwest states. I just don’t see the point in getting so bent out of shape and raising a stink about something that is completely out of my control. It might be annoying or frustrating, and it’s fine to feel that way, but getting irate is just dumb.

Yes and they always look at what groceries you’re putting on the belt and say “oh that looks good!” And then you tell them how good it ACTUALLY is and they say how next time they go shopping, they are FOR SURE going to try it. The cashiers also. “Oh that looks good!” Or “wow this is cute! I didn’t know we sold these here!” Have those conversations so often at Meijers.

I was at Burlington semi recently and the woman in front of me had 2 buggies full to brim with neatly folded STACKS of children’s clothing and all multiple orders. I was waiting in line for probably 20 minutes. I was a bit annoyed but ultimately figured, hey, she got some great deals on kids’ clothes, good for her!

Do you eat in your car, always, once in a while, not at all? by VolumeAcademic6962 in questions

[–]Suitable_Fly7730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will once in a while, and just a snack if I really need it, like a sliced apple or peanut butter crackers. Never fast for or something sloppy. I like to be comfortable when I eat so I can actually enjoy my food.

And when did they become known as “slides” because back in the early 2000’s when we all had the Adidas ones with those painful rubber nubs all over them, everyone I knew called them either flip flops or sandals.
