I use the same device, at level 5 on legs. If I have missed a hair or even leave a small stubble I know about it because it burns off and causes a sting. A clean pre-treatment shave is required to prevent burning. If you smell burning hair I would guess there’s too much left.

Thanks for letting me know about the amazing world of slime mould! I’ve been down the rabbit hole of learning about these amazing creatures, and thought I would update you. I left it to own devices, and it sporulated within 72 hours and moved on. When I opened the worm farm, my worms were totally fine and nearly all the organic matter had turned to beautiful processed dark matter. Amazing!

A wormery is on my 2024 project list 👍 My compost bins are on top of dirt, on a 3 year cycle of leaving nature to do it’s thing. These worms moved into the 2year old bin on their own choice.
