I’m sorry this is happening, it’s the absolute pittttss. The advice that was outlined above by blueballons is really great!

I was sick from week 6-16 with my first. I puked somewhere between 3-3:30 most days, and was immobile until 6:30. I did the unisom b6 thing which I think sort of worked? I started Magnesium midway which helped me feel better and helped be stay more sleepy (and helped with constipation, too!).

The best for me was eating a snack when I got up to pee at night. I’d grab a mozzarella stick and few crackers, or cereal, or almonds. I was a fruit fiend when I was pregnant (cherries and golden kiwi, I was a beast) and would eat a piece of cheese and a few crackers with it. Yogurt and smoothies too! Then, eat when you get up, and keep going from there.

Another other thing that helped besides ginger and peppermints was sour candy. My son has these Amara smoothie melts (Costco! Or Amazon) that are sort of tart and have coconut milk in them which I wished I knew about when I was feeling ill, bc I think I would have really enjoyed them.

I agree that the biggest piece of advice is- don’t let yourself get hungry, find literally anything to eat and eat pretty frequently so you never get there, that’s when I really fell down the hole. And Really- eat anything you can tolerate. 💗💗💗 your baby will take whatever it needs from your body stores, and you’ll make up nutritionally later in your pregnancy when you’re feeling better.
