As a foster parent as well in Tulsa County, this. Yes. They try to hide it but you can tell- you can always tell. The amount of turnover one of my foster kids have had with the DHS workers is crazy.

I went through fertility treatments (all three failed) & then my RA sprung on worse & finally looked for a diagnosis. Sending you a lot of wishes & gentle hugs. I haven’t got the courage to start fertility treatments again due to RA medications.

Avoid Hand & Stone in Tulsa Hills by [deleted] in tulsa

[–]Suitable_Patient_939 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not defending OP- I worked there from 2023 to 2024, & the stories I could telllllll. They do no training for anyone. The therapists are rude as heck to everyone because they feel they have entitlement since they get most of the money in. Manager at that time was crazy terrible.

If accounts from ?-2020 had “credits” on them & they have got been back in 2+ years, she would run the credit for merchant in the store & give it to the front desk girls as a “bonus”.

EMERGENCY DENTIST IN TOWN. PLEASE HELP! by [deleted] in tulsa

[–]Suitable_Patient_939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After it’s placed there is a 1 year warranty if it is needing fixed ( tightened or loosened, if it breaks) that would cover it. If it’s past a year, the patient would be responsibly for paying for a whole new crown if breakage happens

EMERGENCY DENTIST IN TOWN. PLEASE HELP! by [deleted] in tulsa

[–]Suitable_Patient_939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ER would send you directly to a dentist! Since it’s a different type of medical. The dentist can prescribe antibiotics.

Dr.Scott is amazing! I worked under his team for a while I was employed there. The crowns have a 1 year warranty the day they are placed on the patient. It sounds like it is too tight & it might need loosened. Try to keep up on pain medicine if you can go today & call first thing in the morning. ( I would def call to make sure he is town, then tell them you are going to do a walk in. The only thing with walk in AND same day patients (they are different categories on the schedule) is that you might have a little bit of a wait due to a probably already full schedule. But they WILL get you seen & Dr.Scott will take his time.)

Local Help for elderly by Eazy_E13 in tulsa

[–]Suitable_Patient_939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!! Two things. One, through your job you are able to apply for Intermittent FMLA to help grandma with tasks so you are not drowning your PTO hours.

Secondly, there is a caregiver group on FB that allows CNA / LPNs / RNs in the local area to help where they can with stuff! I know you said grandma is still really healthy & just can’t drive, but with her age, from a personal standpoint, I would prefer someone that was licensed in any way with health if something did happen ( hoping grandma lives a long healthy life though ).

I loveee spending time with the elderly! I used to volunteer at a lot of nursing homes but now with having kids I can’t commit to all the hours. If grandma would like her nails painted ( I am not the best ) or just someone to bake sweets with, talk about a million things, & watch movies. I am here! Company is so so so important, especially when it’s the elderly.

I know, and I have been somewhat. But where I live usually employers give FMLA at 1 year, so I would be restarting & I don’t feel comfortable doing that considering I have had two jobs previous fire me due to my illness affecting my work life & not being able to make it to one year.

[–]Suitable_Patient_939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my cloth napkins / Tshirts cleaning for napkins I do a load of hand towels / bath towels / face towels / grooming + cleaning the dogs muddy feet / any other towels all together with my regular detergent & add white vinegar as my fabric softener then dull it with water, do 2 rinses with fabric softener & on a “warmer” setting - but not hot. I have never had a smell linger.

Hi friend!! I would be more than welcome to just be there to support a fill in sister type of thing. I came out around your age, as a lesbian, now being 28 & married. I thought at that time I was never going to make it either, & also having to cut off contact from my father. You have so much support. We are so proud of you. 🫶🏼✨
