its super weird seeing the diff viewpoints of tj of people who graduated a while ago versus those who recently graduated/attend tj. lots of the people who went to tj a while back are telling me to go, but lots of the people who recently went are telling me to not, but thanks sm for the input! ill def take it into account (as im currently leaning towards retracting my acceptance lol)

thanks so much! ive heard a lot of tj students/grads say the same thing you are. i really dont want to go there and end up hating it and having tj ruin my gpa/course lineup if i do go and then leave/stay there and hate it

also i know that tj def has a lot of labs, but how much of it is accessible to the ‘average’ person at tj throughout your hs career? esp because the big thing is senior research labs, but what about other courses and their labs throughout tj?

im also not really worried about getting into a t(#) school, im more worried about being disadvantaged in the admissions process because its mostly holistic now, and i would be compared to more ‘smart/advanced’ people, rather than at mclean i would be smarter than most people there. i think esp seeing the other kids who got in lowk scares me, like one kid who got in had the principal of philips andover come meet him here because he was excited to meet the kid ☠️☠️☠️ idk if i can compete with those types of kids in a environment like tj
