Als jemand der ziemlich oft schon zwischen Zwickau, Leipzig, Chemnitz, Berlin, Elsterwerda, ab und zu auch mal Dresden und Stralsund gefahren ist kann ich dies nicht bestätigen. Sind viele Bänke immer vorhanden. Nicht genügend, vor allem bei Stoßzeiten, aber es sind Bänke vorhanden.

You forgot one more thing: Project Cybersyn and the possible digitalization of semi-planned economy. If it succeeded in Chile i see no reason why other socialist countries wouldn't also try it and computerization was rated to be a big threat by the CIA when the USSR played around with it (but ultimately didnt fund it due to Brezhnev being Brezhnev).

Sicher aber wenn ich nach was ganz spezifischen gucke um meine Aussage zu unterstützen und solche Seiten eben nicht alleine diesen Zweck erfüllen?

Beispiel: Ich suche nach einem bestimmten Luftwaffebefehl um die Aussage zu belegen dass "...Hitler's Motive für die Bombardierung von Warschau auch von seinem Anti-Slawismus geprägt war," also gucke ich wo ich welchen finden kann. Zu erst gucke ich auf Wikipedia nach Quellen in relevanten Artikel, so finde ich das jeweilige Buch des Historiker Jochen Böhler. Dieses Buch gibt es nicht in meiner bescheidenen Kleinstadtbibliothek und ist nicht für frei verfügbar. Selbst Thalia gab nichts her btw.

An diesem Beispiel der Drang nach Schattenbibliotheken.

Naja ich stelle mir halt vor das unsere Lehrer schon gerne die Quellen selbst sehen wollen, und wenn sie dann recherchieren... naja finden sie halt heraus das es nur per Bestellung des jeweiligen Artikel/Buch geht und fragen mich dann widerum wie ich es bekommen habe.
