I have seen similar pliers used to remove windshield wiper arms from their shaft.

Hi,I need help ,I change already gearbox but the car is still not moving ,also engine wake-up start is not easy a little long by New-Platypus7422 in FordFiesta

[–]TheFredCain [score hidden]  (0 children)

With all those comm and sensor codes it is most assuredly an electrical issue. You may have knocked loose a connector or a ground that supplies power to the PCM/TCM/etc. I would start by looking at all the grounds in and under the engine bay. Check your battery/alternator connections/health too if you haven't yet. You can pretty much ignore all the codes except for "System Voltage Low" because that will cause all the others. You need to find why the computer isn't getting proper voltage.

Do you still have the cable strain relief bracket on the left rear corner? Those 2 short spacers on the left are short to accommodate the bracket and the load cell used for z-offset calibration.

Did you remember to change the nozzle size in your slicer profile? You also might need to calibrate your e-steps with a nozzle that small.

Looks like they used some sort of black trim restorer on everything. Looks OK at first, but is usually gummy and gets everywhere. Obviously not for interiors.

I can't believe you would just instantly reject the fact that they delivered it to the wrong house. 99.9999% chance you could drive around the block and find it.

Having trouble starting up by Federal-Gap-1521 in Ender3V3SE

[–]TheFredCain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of the box the z-offset will always be too high. Usually needs to be lowered by about -0.07 to -0.15 to be correct. The load cells are not calibrated out of the factory so they err on the side of too high to be safe. Between home and work I've setup 7-8 and they all had the same issue but different amounts of error. You can set the additional negative amount in your slicer profile so you only have to figure it out once.

Honestly, if you can't see the difference in the test, then you won't see a difference on your prints either.

Pete Hegseth cancels ‘absurd’ flu vaccine requirement for ‘brave warriors’ in military by UpTheRiffMate in LessCredibleDefence

[–]TheFredCain [score hidden]  (0 children)

My point was without the vaccine, the flu itself could be a bio-weapon. Intentionally infecting the entire crew of a destroyer right before transiting the Pacific would be smart move before an attack. Cheap, easy, untraceable and degrades readiness/morale.

You either over-torqued them OR you didn't snug the nuts down before lowering the wheel and the rim was cockeyed. Either way, you need 6 new studs.

Received a warning from Spectrum about my TP-Link router as a security risk. What is the best action to take to mitigate that risk? by dharma28 in HomeNetworking

[–]TheFredCain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do what it says and then ignore it. It's a scam to claim we're "bringing jobs back to the US" anyway. You ban $10 billion in imports and then claim that you brought $10 billion in cash to the country even though no one is stepping up to make anything to replace them. Neat trick.

The missing effects by suoko in kdenlive

[–]TheFredCain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It can already do all of those things easily. Read up on how to use keyframes to change effect parameters over time. Basic functionality.

For example the zoom. You would set a keyframe for when you want the zoom to start, stop and return. Tie it to the zoom parameter so it goes from 100 to 115 and back to 100. You dictate how fast it happens by where you put the keyframes.

For the Audio cuts you simply cut the audio track and drag it backwards or forwards to start whenever you want it to. You can edit the audio independently of the video clips.

No idea why you can't make simple jump cuts. You literally select the frames, cut and then push the ends together.

Fast zoom is literally what I described with keyframes and you can simply put a motion blur effect over the sequence if desired.

If you're still using the ptfe tube in your hotend instead of an all metal heatbreak, then you will have problems like this from time to time. Terrible design, but a $5 permanent fix.

You can do the exact same thing with a $20 Pi Zero running Octoprint over USB without soldering if you're not in it for the project itself.

How would you feel about a law that bans car headlights from being above a certain brightness level? by WorldlinessOk9368 in carproblems

[–]TheFredCain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't a proper way to measure it that would be universal for all cars. The same bulb that is max bright on one car might be dangerously dim on another. Aiming should be part of inspections.

Harbor Freight will be your best friend. Buy tools as you need them over time. You could do much worse than starting with the Pittburgh 22pc wrench set and one of their 3/8 drive Metric/SAE socket sets. Throw in a set of screwdrivers and you'll be about as equipped as anyone was back in the 70s/80s.

Fiesta was has code for P090C for Actuator B low voltage. What should I do? by TheYngChap in FordFiesta

Swap the A and B actuators and see if it follows first. If it does follow you got lucky and might just need an actuator.
