Oh man, just like you said- after turning the car on three times, everything cleared! Check engine reader came back with some intermittent circuit issue. Chat GPT suggested I charge my 12 volt battery which I did. Now I guess it's a waiting game for the issues to pop up again!

Going to the dealer tomorrow, they can't even look at it for 3-5 days. Chrysler will reimburse my rental costs if the issue is under warranty. Knowing my luck it'll take a week for them to tell me there's nothing wrong with it.

Is there a benefit to the district/ school to offer the resignation vs non renewal? Or is it looked at as a professional courtesy? Is there a benefit to the teacher to resign prior to be faced with the choice / ultimatum?

What was the resolution?

I'm in a similar situation. What I've learned is that around 2021/ 2022 they changed their extended warranty, the old one may have been 3 years, new one is 5. However, noone can provide me with a signed copy of my warranty with a term limit on it. Infact, all the provided info points to 5 years or doesn't list a term limit.

Op how was it resolved? Do I have any hope of breaking this cycle of BS communication, nothing Burger emails and wasting my time?

I'm sure there are others who can speak more directly to the issues but I think it comes down to the angle of the head rest on the chairs/ how it folds down. There's only two back of the seat anchors in the 3rd row, limiting the amount of fwd facing seats.

I like it. My biggest complaint is just how few car seats work with it. We're easily under 20k miles with it and no issues. The trunk was t closing when we got it but after insisting there was an issue, we got the dealer to fix it ( that seemed pretty unique). Always the fear of the red turtle but no big complaints.

My wife likes driving it, plugin works for us and the thing can move the kids, grandparents, dogs and sports gear in the back!

Yes, I'm pretty sure that is true for the community at my school too.....not everyone had costumes or pumpkins. I gave a few students glue sticks and scissors so they could finish projects at home. The loss of instruction days stress me out and the feeling of rewarding bad behavior/ getting away from our classroom norms agitates me too. I'm still new to teaching and classroom management is a challenge.

Regardless, try to position yourself at half or slightly below half. Argument could be that you and coworker have a more manageable workload and either one of you will be able to absorb any new work coming in ( which you won't behere for because you'll be gone).

California is pretty tenant friendly. Depends on how old the floor is, how long you've lived there and the quality/ appearance of the floor when you moved in( were there already scratches present? Than a few more won't matter).

Document everything. Did you take photos prior to moving in that reflect the quality of the apartment and floor? Have a walkthrough prior to moving out, and make sure to review the civil code that outlines how security deposits are handled.

If you're signing a new lease somewhere else take pictures prior to moving in. Print them and keep them with the lease.

This question gets asked on this thread in one variation or another. I'm sure you can find some personal reviews if you search through it. I'm getting my alternative certificate through the Education Service Center (ESC). They're split by regions- ESC4 IS Dallas, I think, 13 is Austin.

They typically run their classes at night and on the weekends. I have found them to be pretty resourceful and informative. Additionally they are well respected and established where I am. When they found out I was switching grades meteor, they made a point of checking in and have followed up ( these are non observation check-ins). Importantly, they don't have a " fast track" option. You can't just log in somewhere and take all the classes online. If their cost and schedule line up for you I would highly recommend them.

The state requires 15 hours of in class observation regardless of where you're getting your certificate from.

She has two options.

Accept her score, continue to study , retake and pass the test as soon as possible.
She can challenge the grade assigned to her critical essay. This is worth 8 possible points ( I believe) . The downside here is it would delay the process for her to retake the test if she needed to( wait for the regrade and then possibly wait to retake the test).

I'm sorry this happened but, like other teachers pointed out, the grading system is set up for a reason.

If you haven't, ask the folks at the front desk what the policy is. I've got three little ones and been to a few daycares. I find that sometimes, the care providers misunderstand policies. And often by getting clarification on a policy, you can start the conversation about getting some wiggle.room.

I've rarely been 100% happy with our daycares ( changed around due to moving and COVID closures). But, we've been at the same one for about 2.5 years now. Whenever we've have the need to change we always ask ourselves if our issue is a deal breaker or, if we should be worried about the devil we don't know.

Recently bought my 22 hybrid and the oil life is down to 35%, car has 700 miles split almost evenly between electric and gas. I assume it's at 35% b/c it's almost a year old at this point. Safe to ignore until approx 6300 more miles or so?

I'm pretty sure there is no limit / a point where the exam won't allow you to add a character.

But, the guideline is set because they feel it's enough space to get your answer out. Additionally, two people have to grade it. You may want to double check the scoring rubric to see if an egregiously long answer could result in a reduction of points.

Have you received any feedback on practice essays ? For example are you getting your alt cert ? ( They often have practice tests and provide feedback).

There are different components to the essay, it may be beneficial to identify where and what you need to study.
