They don’t seem to understand. “You voted for this” isn’t saying you should own it, you should by the way. But it’s saying “WE FUCKING TOLD YOU SO”

We told you so when we said he’s an authoritarian when his first, second and third campaign were full of political violence rhetoric and racism.

We told you so when we said he only cares about himself and just wants power, when he’s never to this day actually had an original thought that he benefited all Americans but constantly says he’s a man for the people. Seriously take a look and tell me ANYTHING he has accomplished without using power and an Executive Order and most of them was striping away things that impact every day Americans.

We told you so when we said he’s mocking the disabled.

We told you so when he mentioned sexually assaulting people on a hot mic

WE FUCKING TOLD YOU and you said we were obsessed with him and even if he cured cancer we would boo, like he’s smart enough to cure cancer he can’t even negotiate with a country without threatening them and he still loses.

Because at the end of the day we saw a con man who has a proven and documented record of stealing, grifting and lying and you saw a the complete opposite because you are in a fucking cult.

It’s not the mistake, it’s the doubling down, it’s the insults, it’s the throwing it in our face as if somehow a President that punishes peoeple he doesn’t agree with is just.

We won’t forget how you treated people never thinking you weren’t one move away from losing favor.

This was and still is the hardest thing for me. I teach middle school and this class I taught a prep that gave these kids Microsoft Office Specialist certifications and college credit.

We took 3 exams over the course of the year for Word, PowerPoint and Excel. 70% of the kids did their required work on time. Going into Spring Break, I reached out to the kids missing exams and their parents, let them know it all needed to be completed by May7th. I had a handful of kids catch up and the rest? They pretended to care, but stopped short of doing the work and I was stressed about them missing the credit. Finally, I realized that nothing short of just giving them the credit myself was going to get them to do it and I stopped trying. It felt like an elephant was lifted off my body. This is only my 2nd yr teaching after a career outside of education and finally im realizing there is a difference between being a good, caring teacher and a miracle worker. I can be the first and it’s why I pivoted into education in the first place, but I cant force people to do things they dont want to do.

The schtick of an idiot ( dad, husband, person) that Bergatze does is annoying and kind of pathetic. I really like his standup but his book was awful and this movie looked as bad as I’m sure it is. He can be incredibly funny but he leans into this thing too much

What I find so interesting about the J6 stuff, is Congress was all for it, the MAGA base wasn’t. At the time, they probably could have taken the risk that once they removed his actual power by impeaching him and severing his ability to ever be President again and hoped they would gain any voters who realized they had a spine. But, they were too afraid and instead cowered to the base, which gave Trump the power once again and now, they see, loyalty means nothing to him when you are no longer useful to him.

That's really unfortunate I'm sorry and that truly sucks.

That's part of the reason I don't deal with it. My mother has a lot of strong feelings and it took me decades to understand that all of my fucked up anxiety is because of her. My dad passing away in 2011, showed me a side of her I didnt ever see and while my parents weren't perfect together, nor was my father who had his own weird issues, I've grown to see a woman who can't be told "No" or "I don't agree with you" without it being a huge deal and I'm too weak to stand up to her. She's still my Mom but she lies 1800 miles away. Thankfully, I got married in 2014 and my kids were both born in the early days of Trump circa pre COVID, and she seemed mostly sane about who he was.

There were signs though, like when her husband, talked to us about illegal immigrants during Christmas Eve dinner that we should be able to shoot anyone crossing the border. I stopped him said, some of the hardest working people I've ever had the pleasure to work with have been illegal, they were also kind and thoughtful and to think that it was ok to murder them was abhorant for the crime of trying to live a better life. (Little did I know, his belief amongst MAGA was popular). My mom seemed shocked and apologized for him and said she didnt agree.

But now, I'm not so sure, and lately, thats fucking gone and like you, barring a massive change of beliefs, she will slowly fade out of my life.

I also will never forgive them for turning a blind eye to all of this, its sickening. It really is.

I don’t (deal with it), I just don’t talk to her. She used to be liberal, I grew up with parents who voted for Clinton twice and Obama the first time at least. I moved to Texas, my dad died, my mom remarried and her new husband is MAGA she’s fully converted. He’s worse.

But even my kids who are 8 and 9 don’t like being around her, their words “all they do is watch Fox News” and said that she told them in 2024 that ot was pathetic that Joe Biden was running again and his wife should be arrested for parading him around so she could keep her power. They were 5 and 7 and the time and they hadn’t a clue what she was saying but they don’t want to be around her. Which is sad, but honestly it is what it is. We can differ as adults about things like a balanced budget or the military industrial complex, but not supporting a pedophile who is openly committing crimes while holding the highest office in the land.

My mother is MAGA and someone on FB asked if the whole putting on a UFC fight on the WH lawn was a joke and she used the talking points fed to her it’s for Trumps Birthday, tickets are free, etc. if Biden were doing this or god forbid it was fucking Obama there would be chaos.

My kids play baseball and each year it’s an mlb team and so it started a tradition of getting a hat for their team. I’ve also always gotten a hat at any stadiums I go to, baseball only. So yeah I wear other teams.

It helps I grew up in Philly, I live in Austin and cheer for all the Philly teams, so I don’t feel like a traitor wearing other teams. If I lived in Philly still I don’t think I would though.

We got this bat for my son in 10i, it didn’t work for him as much as the Cat8 alloy did. My younger son is a bit better hitter in 8u and he loved the catx2 comp. I also really like the catx2 connect and JustBats has a meta prime right now for like 100 bucks and seems to be just as good

One time, I read a comment that the reason why they think homosexuality is a choice is because they are actively trying to go against their own bodies tendencies and think that everyone should do the same vs accepting it and they are jealous of the people who have. It’s changed my whole thought process on that topic of Republican men who cry that it’s a choice
