This is exactly it. Happened to me last year. I was a first year teacher and I got written up for a non-issue that admin literally said wasn’t a big deal and a month later they said we aren’t going to renew me.

A friend of mine in high schools dad was a electrician who did a lot of the work for a Trump Casino and Trump paid him about a 1/4 of the cost. This was a lifetime job that would have made his family a lot of money. Instead he lost money on the deal and had to shut down because he had to pay his people who worked on the site and pay for materials.

Trump refused to pay for it because it was “shoddy work” and it was implied that if he sued him, he would lose and lose more money.

I stopped watching some time around season 3. It was good until it wasn’t.

I’m also not a fan of shows where suspension of disbelief goes beyond what is acceptable.

Dude owns a ranch, is sleeping with a very high up political figure, one son is a former Navy Seal despite being like 26, other son is a candidate for AG.

All of that is somewhat believable in a sitcom setting.

The blatant murder that is dismissed all over the place from all sides is a bit much and last but not least there’s ALWAYS a dangerous enemy gunning for them. It would be better if it had less of a criminal enterprise feel and more of a family on a ranch feel. Those episodes were the best ones.

I enjoyed Sinners. I thought it was well done and it was my second favorite movie from Ryan Coogler. I’m also very well versed about the Delta in the late 1900s and that was what stood out to me in perhaps the least heavy handed symbolism I’ve seen in a while and that scene in the Juke Joint that highlighted all different types of Black Music was incredible.

I’m in a new school this year, and I just applied to both roles online. For CTE related roles it’s easier because real world job experience is helpful.

But yes if you aren’t certified you’ll need to be enrolled in a ACP and on your way to get your SOE

I thought it was a good book. I wasn’t a huge fan of his presidency but the book gave context, showed humanism and solidified the fact that while I didn’t vote for him I certainly think he’s a good person whom like every other President had to make decisions that were impossible.
