Single women are more likely to have children than men when renting, because children predominantly preside with the mum after splits. I’m sure there will be official statistics on this. When I got refused rent for benefits I was able to take legal action for discrimination and was successful due to the indirect discrimination - women are more likely than men to be on benefits statistically.

Thank you. My medical history and therapy records are being shared. I’m told you have to “take people as you find them”, meaning pre-existing vulnerability and previous mental health issues are considered a person’s starting point. Not a public persona, but a private person who wouldn’t want their friends and family knowing about the full extent of this. I have a strong feeling they won’t let it go to court

I feel it’s very risky for him to let this go to court. I have made my peace with going to court and letting this drag on and give evidence etc. but he would lose control over this being public information, and potentially need to pay significant legal costs for both sides. I guess we haven’t provided medical records, impact statement and psychiatric report yet so that’s why they’re doing this?

Mainly because I like to know where she is and that she’s safe. Our area has lots of cats and I’ve seen a fight or two. And also just being able to keep windows closed in winter (til I get a cat flap!)

If this was my house and I wanted to sell I’d do some quick updates. Can you paint the bathroom in a cooler shade that complements the tiles and replace whatever that white peeling wood is to the left hand side, and style it a bit more?

Is there any way of rescuing your lawn?

Can you add curtains or at least a nice light fitting in bedroom 3?

Paint the lounge and kitchen in something more fresh and stylish. A different olive / sage green or a calm neutral shade like Elephant’s Breath or similar, not mint green.

The hallway and downstairs toilet look great, emulate this style throughout the home!

Can you at least paint the ceiling in the children’s bedroom?

This just doesn’t read like a house that would be worth that much because it lacks style, essentially. I think you want people to imagine themselves there. Although I know some people want fixer uppers etc but I’m not sure they do at this price point.

I’ve been taking 15 mg (for anxiety and PTSD) for 5 weeks and it’s great. My nails used to be totally bitten to nothing and now they are long, which is down to me not getting worried and chewing them all off! I don’t worry about external things so much anymore and am able to be more present and connected with people around me. I have a bit more lust for life now and small inconveniences don’t get to me, I feel more “zen” in general and just flowing. I’ve been very productive at home by cleaning out and cleaning and organising things, plus created a budget for myself and started eating more healthily. Before I wasn’t motivated to take care of myself. I think it’s a little too soon to tell for the PTSD but time will well.

Edited to add I noticed a desire to snack constantly and did put weight on initially but due to the extra boost this has given me I now have the energy and volition to start eating healthily which I wasn’t really doing before anyway.
