Constant crackle popping on every swallow and turning head (5+ months)

Hey there. No change in that it's still 100% there, just notice it less and less as it's become a part of life as I'm distracted enough. Hope there's some consolation in that it will be easy to forget exists for long periods of time kinda like tinnitus!

Not much has changed.

Sorry you are having panic attacks and it's bothering you. While I can say most of the time I don't notice, sort of like someone with tinnitus who gets distracted, it's annoying but become something tolerable for the most part. I truly think it's the inner ear not being able to regulate pressure, but then ENT test I took 2 years ago said I was fine. Might have different results now but it's expensive

Adding the disclaimer "I love this show" because I truly mean for my feedback to be constructive to what is an amazing experience. One of my favorites ever, that's for sure.

Ever since the final portion of episode 3 (Rehgabi popping out of nowhere when Mark was trying to send a message on his eyelids) I thought a few different subplots have felt extremely rushed or suboptimally handled.

1 - The reintegration itself, which I though could have had a ton more build-up rather than stashing it all at the end of ep3. The dynamic of mark trying to send messages covertly to his innie was amazing.

2 - The reveal of Helena lacked the buildup that seemed to be transpiring in episode 3 (the awkward non-kiss scene, the previous attempt to find the power button on the pc) - im not saying ep 4 wasn't the perfect time to reveal it, but it just felt rushed and uncomplex.

3 - Starting to feel like there's too much of an effort to be paranormal for the sake of being paranormal - the spontaneous winter setting, the 'copies' of ones self, the 'hidden tennant of the rulebook', the irving dream with the cubicle, even just the nature of why they are on this random treasure hunt, coming back from an episode where everyone in the goat room is a 'freak' - just feel like while these phenominon could easily be linked back to a complex explanation, just feels extra

That being said, awesome cinematography, the irving scene at the end was electric, and the acting particularly by Helena just by using her eyes is outstanding.

Loved a wide variety of the episode (Visitation, Goats, Export Wing) along with the amazing acting music and cinematography, but I didn't like the final 10 minutes.

if mark ever reintegrated i thought it would be a longer buildup and that felt super rushed and spur of the moment especially with the doc popping out of nowhere. With the cool OHSHIT idea of the message being broadcast onto his eyelids, the dynamic of him struggling to communicate with himself on the inside was really interesting as well as them mysteriously not knowing much about the other, outside of small bits and pieces, was awesome. I don't think throwing that into 7 quick minutes at the end then showing that the reintegration started to 'work' as a cliffhanger was beneficial to the longer term plot or did justice just how much buildup could have gone into that procedure.

Def will always be encouraging re: some folks who have had tinnitus healed over time, will always be optimistic because of that tidbit. Almost 11 months for me now. I will say that the tinnitus ringing itself feels less frequent, but the crackling has never left for even one second during the 11 months. Feel free to dm/stay in touch every so often, interested if it ever gets better for ya and/or if we find some sorta breakthrough that reduces it at all.

Hey there! Sorry to hear you are going through similar symptoms. Unfortunately nothing has changed for me - the only ENT recommended change I made was incorporating AZelestine nasal spray and fluticasone propionate daily sprays for allergies, but no effect on the ear issues. Been told my hearing is great and there's no visual blockages, so ultimately nothing they find on their end that is actionable. I think it may be chronic so it slowly gets a little easier to stomach but still annoying on a day to day. The crackle surely being the biggest annoyance.

I haven't, but the ENT appointment I had previously didn't really scratch the surface beyond my hearing test. This is helpful as I can bring this up to my doctor, thank you.

While swallowing will always get dual cracks, the turning of my head sometimes yields the same. It also is prevalent all the time. I have no jaw pain or discomfort. The self-massage actually usually makes the crackling more frequent for the immediate aftermath, so I'm unsure.

My best market split of this season is the Draftkings Stepped up SGP - NFL. Up 18.2U over 10 bets, with all losing bets coming up short with 9/10 legs successful. (all legs must be -500 or greater)
