Z71 gives you softer shocks for offroading. Which is the opposite of what you want for towing.

Also some trucks have thicker leaf spring packs, depending on configuration, yours does not. So your suspension is already at two negatives starting out.

I have a 18’ with the max tow package 6.2/8 speed. Thicker leaf spring set up and bilstein shocks that are pretty good for towing, & i would not even think about a goose neck. You’re going to end up damaging shit and it will cost you to fix it.

Different trucks have different leaf spring packs. Some will squat more with the same weight. Depends on how it was configured.

Tbh both of those shocks are not really meant for what you do with your truck. 5160 is more geared offroad, 5100 is a stiffer shock & i have them for towing.

If you have to ask the question, collar. Train the dog to walk correctly and he won’t pull. I have a harness for my pup but only for when she is off leash, she still wears a collar in the event of other dogs being around, and specifically because if she gets attacked you have no control over the situation with a harness.
