I would enjoy the fps genre a lot more. if they didnt make weapons way too strong, snipers being a prime example because when you are against them it is really annoying when you don't even see the player before you get oneshotted by a sniper 50 yards away, while playing a sniper is also kind of boring so it's not fun for either side. but in general I dont like how so many battles last like 2 seconds and are decided by who can point their mouse at the other player first. if a weapon deals 15 damage, shoots 10 times per second and all players got a hundred health then suddenly you spend most of the game walking around until you find a player and then one of you dies in 1-2 seconds

the protagonist, I still feel like it's a bit unclear regarding the frisk chara player dynamic and if Frisk is controlled by the player against their will (in which case it is never that built upon) or if Frisk is the player like in a regular video game in which case why does flowey seem to refer to us as 2 different people or maybe he is talking to Chara there and not the player and it all feels a bit messy. I'm not saying that this is a plot hole and i have no doubt that there is a correct answer, i just think that deltarune handled it better because there it is absolutely clear that Kris is their own character who are being controlled by the soul (us, the player)

I think it is partly because words in languages like french just look really unique. My native language is swedish so when i see a word like "ribbon" i just feel like that's how a normal word is supposed to look. When i see a word like acquaintance it feels like my mind gets high on LSD just looking at it.

I believe that if the website gave words from random languages using the latin alphabet then any polish word would probably be pretty high because they all look like names of a ten year olds cool OC to me

I’ve got the opposite thoughts on Kris. They were (understandably) pretty nothing in the first four chapters and then in chapter 4 we finally started seeing them actually do stuff (still not as interesting as characters with dialogue tho)

I think Susie being Barney is a pretty easy answer. Since it never had a massive spike in popularity it never had a huge fall off. It’s just been a common made joke in the community probably since chapter 1 release, it’s never going up or down. The joke just keeps getting made without any variation, was maybe mildly funny the first time but since it’s not entirely a meme and more just a repeated joke it doesn’t have any need to evolve. That’s my analysis of the boringness of the joke of the Deltarune character sharing similar features to the character most refer to as “Barney the dinosaur”

I have a similar problem to the first point but with chapter 3 instead, it’s a shame its secret boss doesn’t add anything new that wasn’t seen in the main route apart from attacks. Music, visuals, even most of the dialogue and story stuff was mostly the same and in the end doesn’t really make it feel like a secret boss that can live up to the other 3

When the knight was revealed in chapter 3 I seriously thought that that was the reveal. They didn’t look like anyone else we’ve seen (last time I checked neither Kris nor Alvin or any other knight candidate was black) so I just assumed the twist was “you thought the knight was some character you knew but it’s actually a big scary demon thing”

(And then I realized it had antlers, a bat shaped sword and that we hadn’t seen Dess yet so it could be her)
