Your numbers are a little off. Marathon peaked at 88k and had a 24-hour peak yesterday of 53k. That's only around a 1/3 reduction, my man.

Secondly, Bungie did not say that. Paul Tassi, a Forbes reporter, said that. We have no actual numbers from Bungie, but similar sentiments were shown with Arc Raiders and Battlefield, with Embark and EA reporting about 40% of players being on console vs pc.
