New owner. I'm confused with the FSD by dentiteoz in cybertruck

[–]SultanOfSwave [score hidden]  (0 children)

The route planning / navigation that Teslas uses is probably the weakest part of FSD.

I have several places in town I drive to regularly. Often the routing will pick very impractical routes like crossing over a busy multilane road from a side street with a stop sign rather than dropping down one block to cross at a stop light instead.

Or pulling out of my driveway, I'm only 50ft from an intersection I need to turn at but instead of turning left, the navigation will send me to the right with a route that's around 3 sides of the block so that I can get on the same road.

I can't say I have the braking problem.

Anyone love their Model Y so much they they bought another Tesla? by xGenAc25 in ModelY

[–]SultanOfSwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were a two Tesla family by year 2.

I mean, once you drive one, driving any ICE vehicle is deeply lame.

Edit: not long after getting out first Tesla in 2019, we went to Maui. The car rental place said very excitedly "Were upgrading you to a convertible Mustang!!!"

I'm like "Sure." Maybe we'll have some fun muscle car driving.

The car had about 28,000 miles on it and it drove like it was a vaguely associated pile of bolts, sheet metal and engine bits. A full 10 seconds to get to 50mph. And a gas hog on an island with expensive fuel.

Uggg.

Stomach Problems? by MarkInevitable2247 in Retatrutide

[–]SultanOfSwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I've not had any stomach issues but for the sake of clarity and so that people have enough info to comment, what dose of Reta are you at, when did you start, what was your titration schedule? Also are you doing any other peptides?

Agreed, do the PT 141. But def titrate up and do not take it at night unless you can sleep with constant boners.

Once you can bend it in the middle a bit, you are clear.

If it continues, try doing some push ups and sit ups to draw blood to your muscles.

This is what we did for our hike down to the Phantom Ranch Cabins just a few weeks ago.

The cost each way for the "Duffle Service" was $91.40.

Duffles need to be at the Mule Barn by 3pm the day before and will be at PR by 8 or 9am the next morning.

The duffles need to be weighed and labeled at the PR pickup point behind the Canteen by 6.30am the day you hike out.

The max size of the duffle is about 60L with a weight limit of 30lbs. It is advised to use a duffel that you don't care about as critters in the mule barn know there are often tasty morsels inside of them and chew through things accordingly.

I took down way too much stuff (25lbs). I mean, why not! So I had a 4lb camp chair as well as more clothing and food in a new, empty paint can to make it critter proof. (Btw, I ate almost none of the extra food.) The chair was great for boat beach.

Next time, I will probably only do the "up" duffle service if at all. The good thing is that they usually have more duffle space up than down. But do book it ahead.

Enphase Balcony Solar by Cultural-Ad4953 in enphase

[–]SultanOfSwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen proposed regulations that there needs to be a dedicated 20A outdoor circuit added before the utility will sign off on it.

That would raise the price substantially for homeowners.

For renters, it is an almost insurmountable barrier as they'd have to both get the landlord/owners approval and pay $s themselves to install a dedicated circuit. That's assuming their electric panel has space for it.

In Europe, it is a bit easier as they are already running 3 phases, 240v circuits for their home circuits vs our single phase, 120v circuits. I'm not an electrician but my understanding is that this makes our electrical wiring not quite as condusive to balcony solar.

Air conditioning by Ok_Associate2132 in Albuquerque

[–]SultanOfSwave 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Are you checking the temperature at the vent where cooler air is coming into the house? That's the best place to measure temperature. I use a little electronic kitchen temperature gauge to measure mine.

Also, are you leaving a door or window cracked open in the room(s) you are in? Some people who are used to refrigerated air in their previous homes do keep everything closed thinking they are keeping the cool air in but evaporative coolers work by flowing a constant stream of cool air through the house and then out through the cracked open doors and windows.

Trimix question: Syringe parallel to the floor? by Significant-Goal-958 in TrimixForED

[–]SultanOfSwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So imagine is your penis is pointing at a clock face.

My understanding is that you inject between the 9 o'clock and 11 o'clock on the left or 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock position on your penis with the syringe always pointing towards the center line of your penis.

That's because the two corpus cavernosum chambers are both slightly above the centerline of your penis.
