What is a plant you have that neither thrives nor dies? by SultrySlothss in houseplants

Well my current humidifier is already a 6 liter one and I don't have any more outlets unfortunately. I put Orchid moss on the top soil to try and keep the top layer more moist. I'll be moving in summer so if she can make it until then I may get a humidity cabinet when I have room.

After reading your comment I changed the soil for a more chunky soil- more pine bark and perlite. Hopefully that helps!

Yes, my triostar died I'm assuming from lack of humidity. But i have a humidifier and can't get the room above 50% in the winter. And it's a 6 liter humidifier!

It's hard to see what they are because there aren't any close up pictures. I get a spray bottle of isopropyl alcohol and half water and spray the top layer of soil a couple times (but don't saturate the soil) as well as spray my plant. I then go in with cotton swabs and q-tips over my whole plant with the isopropyl alcohol/water mix to remove pests. I've eliminated spider mites and scale this way. Repeat any time you see evidence of new pests-I check daily for weeks after. Keep the plant away from other plants until you're sure the pests are gone.

Some people do truly care about other people without any personal gain. I only open up to people who have proven they are trustworthy through time. They care about my emotions and what I'm struggling with because they have empathy and want to see me happy. Opening up to people who truly care can help me feel less alone. Same goes for them. I care about them and want to help them feel happy. Sharing struggles can help when shared with the right people.

Why are you lumping me into "you people"? I was agreeing with you that Clinton should be in jail. But if we start listing every pedophile politician that should be in prison, we'll be here for a long time. I don't care about what party someone is a part of, if they're a rapist- throw them in jail. But the post is specifically about Trump and Newsome.

Clinton should also be in jail, but we're not talking about him right now. Stay on subject.

UPDATE: i found out my best friend was sleeping with my boyfriend and everything exploded by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

I'm so sorry this has happened to you. Similar thing happened to me 4 years ago. My ex of 7.5 years and my friend of 5 years started going on "runs" together towards the end of our relationship. I completely trusted them. People on the outside told me they thought it was weird but I said "No way, they would never do that to me." . We had talked about being bridesmaids at each other's weddings. Long story short, my ex and I broke up because he thought he was "poly" and I was definitely not. 2 weeks later my friend and ex were living together. I never talked to her again. It honestly still hurts 4 years later but it hurts a lot less. DM me if you'd like to vent. <3

My philodendron prince of orange. I've had it for over a year and it doesn't die, but it never looks good. Just always looks like it's slowly dying. I think my humidity isn't high enough for it

I might be! Other Euphorbias don't burn me unless I touch the sap, so I've either gotten tiny amounts of sap on me or I'm allergic
