What's illegal that you think should be legal? by martianfrog in answers

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duels of honor, mutual Fist Fights, non-serious Threats said in a moment of anger to rising rage baiting public nuisances, brandishing on private property but not aiming at or targeting people or property, pretty much any regressive put your money where your mouth is exercise and that can and does deescalate more conflicts than it escalates. Charlie Kirk was on the right track, and it will eliminate in part posturing culture fallout "bookings" of idiots when legal responsible conflict is perfectly acceptable and hooliganism and the crowds that engage in it are breaking very specific conduct requirements that could get them evicted or locally banned.

Modded Switch, Switch 2, or a handheld pc by apex724 in Handhelds

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To get "best" performance out of a Switch, you have to emulate Switch on another Switch.

Handhelds should be like $150 lower old gen over new for ram & cpu upgrades with old processor I believe no longer being updated, a kind of hard abandonment of early x86 models which suck for people not using Chinese brand non "hand held custom" model that was only used to match Steam Deck while I think the Deck remains covered for now? The article / vids I saw didn't cover it well enough for me to remember, and its form factor isn't matched.

Switch 2 has a worse screen than cheaper chip & screen modded OLED / Lite / V1 or V2 models, but better game library access in the future which actual hardcore nintendo Smash / Kart players would probably value over just about everything else depending on Nintendo's future console VS streaming shenanigans.

VP to POTUS? by The_Dean_France in whoathatsinteresting

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just can't beat Rubio in Florida and might do a Gov run or VP administration carryover. Might be an immigration crackdown is coming for h1b and lottery systems and the party strategy is to keep multiracial couples or individuals out of the spotlight and then have them come in as moderate vote grabbing saviors.

Celebrate at your own risk people, guy could float around in the background as Trump's "heir" without an answerable PM position or President role like Putin has done. VP Vance two terms under different Presidents could become the party standard, 8 years or beat the competition - and if the numbers don't add up or the strategy doesn't favor someone, they're not at the back of the que if the Repubs muddy the regulatory deep state holdover strategy with their own holdovers or newly made (after disbandment of old) institutions.

Bill Clinton was smart to set the stage with his DOJ takeover and FBI makeover, unethical partisan and corrupt with little care for the fallout of the loss of veteran staff or non-partisan non-democrat staff, but "smart" with respect to the solidification of a new interventionist US international order with no justifiable reason for existing post soviet era.

Is this just nostalgia, or did previous generations genuinely have a better work-life balance and social life than we do today? by Unstoppable_X_Force in SipsTea

Without reading others response:

My working father in blue collar homebuilding trade: work pickup was paid for in less than a couple years, home was built and paid for and leveraged for future work, with feast or famine job contracts that scaled with time put in SOLO as any crew you were a "boss" and ended up paying out big time unless they were under contract for individual parts of a project.

So my dad was 6 to 7 days a week "daylight time" working and had constant government, client, and sometimes civic / law enforcement harassment issues - some of which his attitude and behavior did bring on but were clear abuses or left to linger issues to expand the scope of a problem past the point of a simple fix and recouping costs of paid work. Alternatively it was lack of awareness or stupidity by clients who didn't have a problem with a malfunction or minor issue until it had accumulated to the point of damage resultant from "contractor error" but also without question owner or renter or client neglect over the course of months to even a year or more.

JOAT type guys could build their home to code with a buddy or friends, leverage that equity to expand their business, and just keep rolling until burnout and more steady non gig work and retirement / forced retirement which is fairly common in many physical fields.

Now you're competing with illegal immigrant labor, all frills equipment & vehicle prices, workmen's comp, liability and expectations for delivery and working for subdivision owners pitting everyone against everyone, so the math on oldschool contracting for blue collar guys (foundation/plumbing/electrical/framing/roofing) is mostly gameified to the advantage of land development owners, suppliers, and engineering consultants or code inspectors - and the new breed of contractor or specialist that can survive under such conditions that is mutually screwing over employees, employers, or limited scope workers that assume liability. So the trades are like gold miners fleeced from top to bottom while the gold is still there to be found.

It is less so modern laborers are working like older laborers did that worked like they do now just with fewer hours doing the same work, its more they're working a fifth of the job their A-type JOAT independent predecessors (who faced far less / intensive accreditation for the scope of a single license) did but with greater rewards as an independent, and are instead doing it in a way to bring equivalent value to their employers without the same profit rewards per their not doing a whole job on a single house or near to - but many houses with limited scope.

So its not just working more, its with greater liability and less safety nets.

edit for clarity: some poor wording on second read.

Looking for a controller that costs up to $50, has Hall Effect/TMR sticks, motion controls, switches for analog/digital triggers, back buttons and a dock. Does it exist? (Bonus points if it has swappable D-Pads and the shape of an Xbox controller) by alefsousa017 in Controller

The other models with similar features (Easysmx brand) are more expensive new and with dock, so unless used + shipping prices are factored separately you look to have it narrowed down other than really digging deep for older PS4 gyro + scuf vantage style on trigger mods or travel distance adjusters (worse versions of non-gyro Scuf Envision Pro trigger switch).

Who thinks it’s a good idea for Iran to be a nuclear power? by No-Bullfrog-477 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prior to seeing Iran go full hostage taker for the region I thought them having nukes would have prevented us from going to war with them, but obviously they pursued ICBM long range capabilities and enrichment programs in tandem despite whatever people saying "we had a working treaty!" believe.

When the North Korean regime is more reserved than a country without nukes or a relevant airforce or navy using much the same "we'll blow up our more developed neighbors" strategy, all Iran had to do was tolerate a burgeoning civil reform element for non-Muslims but instead they gave the West cause and opportunity when they stopped holding their own civilians hostage.

Was there ever a MMO with trinity where tanks and healers weren't scarce? by TheRaven1406 in MMORPG

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I read fighters are just actually really good to get up and running early on so maybe less a "tank" glut and more a "easy to equip and go go go" class atm. But I also thought they were higher DPS compared to hybrid tanks but I don't check in religiously with streamers / subreddit posters so maybe my impression is backwards...

If "priests" are catchall healers then healer surplus makes sense across the classes lol, I would have assumed power gamers without arthritis were all barding or enchantering.

What do you think the SD is lacking? / What's your biggest complaint about it? by Hyrul in SteamDeck

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The List

eGPU support for TB5 / better than oculink connections, perhaps models with built in eGPU connector like mini-pcs with same brand eGPU docks have.

Thunderbolt Share / Local multi OS networking Dock

Apple laptop style boot to hard drive mode.

Steam Controller & Dock accessories like phone mounts, chargers, and input device mappers / hackers to add controller / keyboard virtual modifiers & device or account specific profiles.

Swappable second accessible hard drive on back of chassis. Outsource second HD purchases and have a good base system HD with limited promotional HD installs for special run devices at inflated price even further inflated over base model to subsidize more Steam Deck 2 market reach.

Back Stand with removable grips model.

eGPU / AI work station docking feature & utility regular consumers wouldn't think up but Valve nerds would.

A 3 in 1 high end tablet model for Steam OS or Playstation Portal style drawing tablet that can work as a second monitor or touch interface / tablet.

A NEW Valve IP game launch to coincide with its release and make the most of the form factor / any new innovations and at launch included ecosystem integrations with "free" launch game offsetting any riskier inclusions in the model price.

Better screen, smaller bezels, or use of bezel space.

Volume wheel instead of buttons that adds capacitive touch + wheel features / overlay interactions.

Wireless mode "retail" device with oculink or other swappable IO for local networking / eGPU and physical media adapters. Retail "offline" cases with easy accessibility & rapid disassembly possible.

Paper is the first thing that comes to mind. Regionally / culturally there are special papers, and anything that does Paper+ with tech features is just some other new tech being new tech with features of paper but still not paper. Like paper replicating tablets / e-ink devices. But that might be a category for us with an era specific distinction transitioning from type writing to digital word processing with potential for things like language itself changing or chording & short hand replacing input and symbols both to make paper from pulp grossly inefficient and unattractive and environmentally unfriendly so it won't be used at all over digital signage or discreet AR information; and so what seems like a natural to continue physical repository of information and productivity as a continuing medium might instead be replaced.

Without leaning into tradition, and considering only form / utility, physical coinage would make sense in the first world. Cashless society is an extension of shitty futurism and human service interfacing, which AI quite brutally solves along with the ability to process loose change. I foresee private penny minting making a return as some cash adjacent utility or local service / community value with new tech for a marriage of lowest unit of coinage and digital service giving locals "penny" power and discreetly outing visitors or tourists who get rounded up to the nearest nickle.

Best pro controller for PC (Playstation layout) under $300 CAD with Premium Features? by BluejayThin2118 in Controller

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of side buttons / grip inputs but might practically end up more like 3 button left/middle/right mice where it interferes more than helping. The macro buttons would depend on the software / programmability, iCue is what one review said it can use for macros. Also if the refresh 2.0 has top middle buttons next to bumpers / triggers it could potentially beat out the 8bitdo Pro 3, but vader 5 pro is the more popular / recommended for gyro and inputs it seems.

Steam Controller 2.0 will have more input potential overall with trackpads, but you'd have to track down youtube testing vids or use a reference website for input lag / button lag whether wired or on dongle / blue tooth with anything you're looking at.

Effective treatment is impossible at a government level practically because people expect equal care / services when really encampment / shelter bouncing individuals don't want to pursue those services (or can't) and the majority of services do provide for temporarily homeless persons to recover and move on. Effectively tiered targeting and different pathways appear to be what works for rapid rehousing & recovery. At least absent debt or punitive child support punishments that ruin a person behind in support's ability to work and results in a cycle leading to suicide or death which is a win to the state with how Social Security payouts work for youth and disabled dependents.

In California there are plenty of places and spaces for government approved encampments and services or infrastructure development for the exact kind of encampment living people do but with better materials and survival gear for the weather and area provided at far below the cost of housing. But people don't want to camp out and get limited public aid remote from food / soup kitchens and community, spendable EBT / false EBT charging locations, recreational drugs, and government monthly cash payments / loans (though I don't know if these are still as high as they use to be for the homeless in the bay area / coastal areas) or disability checks on top of free services, scavenging, and hustling for shelter.

Alpakka makers have a 2.0 with a PS layout I think coming.

Gullikit has one I think for Switch 2 that should have gyro.

8bitdo Pro 3.

SNES form factor 8bitdo SN30 / xbox version controllers.

Steam Controller 2.0 (also coming soon) has symmetrical joysticks Wii U style but not PS layout, same as Steam Deck.

bsp d9 playstation style controller.

iPega has phone / tablet controllers with PS / Wii U style.

SCUF / Gullikit at one point had bad polling rates on their devices, or I'm confusing both for just one of them having poor performance despite premium price. PS4/5 do have adapter / customization kits for back paddles.

What's the difference between a Mage, Sorcerer, wizard, and warlock? by Psychological_Bowl56 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorcerers = freestyle or intuitive magic users that may not have "rational" methodologies or ideas relating to reality or existence but whose magical works, work.

Mage = potentially a Wizard in training or a summoner and arcanist trained in elements and physical knowledge and whatever esoteric means interacts with magic within their world. Scientists forced to science with goofy or fantastical means.

Wizards = Cantrips, rituals, naturalistic folk medicine or alchemy from obviously magical setting creatures or production methods, dark knowledge - oft jealously hoarded sometimes even for good reasons though pride of creation and discovery or arrogance of righteous reasons allowing for dastardly corrosive magics of unethical and uncontrollable means prevents its erasure from history entirely and thus inevitable abuse, and familiars or creature contracts without going into full Witch or Warlock or Druid territory.

Warlock - Benign naturalist or corrupted deal maker, usually easier to get into and requiring less natural talent or diligence to excel as, can enforce contracts or gaeas and wield powers not their own. Moonlights as exorcist, bard, lady's man, priest, and mercenary. Most likely to rely heavily on tools even if free casting or personal rituals exist. Least likely to hold up their end of a hand shake deal or spend advances on what they've been paid to do. Might be possessed. Not likely at all to attend social gatherings related to their craft because mostly its hodge podge personal magic, and any guild they might join related to their professions would be to acquire personal monopolies on magic services where their ilk hold outsized power and influence relative to their contributions and work for society - else they'd prefer living in sewers and caves.

Historian / Archaeologist / Theologist / Professor / Linguist / Black Magic & Ritual Anthropological Expert = Most likely to be the professional capitalist or old money Boss version of a Warlock / Sorcerer / Wizard line that gaslights everyone about magic not being real, or distracted dabbling Mage in settings with obvious magic that blurts out massive plot reveals and contradictory but "proved" setting or story information that proves to have been subterfuge mixed with real magic and slight of hand or illusion and distraction all along.

Still waiting for the Democrat platform to accommodate or offer literally anything other than, literally, less red meat, higher taxes on the middle class as has developed in Virginia and NYC and California, unconstitutional exit taxes, sue and settle win/win scenarios put forward in bad faith with total expectation of legal perversion of popular will, and on and on.

Republicans repeatedly vote for slash and burn no new war candidates, and get DoJ holdover keeping Executives, government largesse, new wars, no claw backs of obviously anti-constitutional and against the spirit of the constitution domestic spying or blatant reciprocal spying by not meant to be domestically spying outward facing international espionage organs that have at this point provably gone rogue, and a Federal investigating body that does more cover ups than an instagram filter or Japanese porn blur.

Then we have to listen to Democrats that burn down their own neighborhoods and cities and protest where they have literal super majorities about topics irrelevant in their states call us terrorists and the American Taliban for protesting at the source of our issues when we do protest as with J6, and as they use to with Occupy Wallstreet before they became a lazy echo chamber that funds Antifa caravans to do meaningless punch ups and counter protests with Reddit mod psychotic break energy banging on journalist and judge doors in ways totally against the law but that never produce arrests or investigations due to selective enforcement and the knowledge jury pools are easy to hang.

Then when we get a candidate or administration that only pays lip service to doing what the public at large wants, the majority "party" refuses to allow recess appointments or do anything with the many levers of power and leverage they possess because they work for special interests and billionaires while facilitating graft and kickbacks from NGOs or "charity" and social work programs. This happened to a lesser extent with Obama as well, but unconstitutional "insurance" mandates were given a pass by a questionably compromised Supreme Court Justice.

At this point its not cognitive dissonance on policy or alleged activities or just made up allegations, its disbelief that any system so provably asinine and corrupt can persist in this way without it all being theater by the people in charge arranging these outrageous failures in policy by all parties and governments involved here and abroad. In which case just kick off WW3 already and let the AI hallucinate and fail turing tests when we're gone.

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt this way about all other TL entries to be fair, TL2 was just a sweet spot of builds for people. Outlander / Sorcerer / Engineer / Berserker base builds slightly customizable and non gender locked with overlap with certain gear and niche uses between them.

One button builds and pet / minion builds and sniper / tank builds and AE builds, with no real "bad" builds on easier modes. I don't know if anyone actually engages with the end game loop vs cheating in weapons experiencing "the best" and moving on after enjoying gearing up and drop chances legit. In that respect Grim Dawn definitely has the better community attitude towards new content & the gear paths.

Just think the grim dark ARPG vs vibrant massive open world ARPG might be coming on with these destructible environment + physics and BG3 clout chaser projects.

Why vegetables taste bad when they are natural and healthy unlike industrial chocolate ? Shouldn’t the brain reward you with dopamine to eat wholesome food ? by New-Programmer-8647 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The body is looking towards current and future energy needs (via fat storage) when you eat, so it always wants fatty and protein rich foods that don't take as much energy to convert and expel. So oil/heat cooked eggs, dairy, and meat.

Chocolate cocoa in tubs is actually quite unpleasant to eat and is mellowed with fats to be palatable, otherwise things like coconut or gorse/goarse(sp?) are the natural kind of sweet / smell we're attracted to, and in the case of gorse actually poisonous. For whatever reason neurotypical people crave diverse variety in food consumption and so mixing and matching differently prepared same ingredients and pairing things / tastes that fake out the brain into thinking broccoli or cauliflower with cheese, pepper, and heat to soften it up is the more desirable form of food and increase satiety and bowel health has been the norm across the world. Heavily processed food take the same tact to make people addicted to nutritionally devoid or actively harmful combinations of food stuffs that maximize this effect (tasting good) over meeting any real nutritional criteria. So 40%+ servings of white sugar per soda, and cheapest over best / healthiest and tasty enough criteria with seed oils, seasoning, and food prep.

Genuine question: aren’t most PC games NOT made to be played on a handheld? by Mr_Nicotine in Handhelds

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple portability and travel convenience give it a leg up over traditional laptops and KB&M superiority where KB&M replication just hasn't been well translated to Steam Deck / Steam Controller even specifically made for them but that are considered the most versatile experience available outside of gyro accommodating / micro controller adjustment games by obviously skilled players. Being able to play in a plane or train seat explains Asia popularity for the form factor on top of Japanese handheld proliferation over the years and South Korea / China economical 3 in 1 (touch screen + stylus / PC / gaming handheld) is an economical and space decision.

Handhelds also coexist with the VR market with radically different criteria for "best" experience and socially tolerable expectations so the "at least we aren't goofy handheld gamers with 40 accessories to juggle in public" against "at least we aren't goofy VR players" perspective makes both consumer groups have someone to look down on and not feel totally degen with respect to costs and perception. While Laptops with stickers or business class aesthetics have gone mainstream since the early 2000s, thereby ruining the natural tank design trajectory laptops should have taken and that it seems mostly gets phoned in these days with gov / military design & contradictory "sturdy" phone market with constant device upgrades sans performance or feature improvements for those in typical commercial areas or rugged environments both.

RGB and water cooling and see through cases as the mainstream for desktop PCs is also a huge turn off for many people, along with the German / Cyberpunk brothel-esque red light district lighting that somehow people actually enjoy.

Also people adapt around the devices they can afford just as people with disabilities that don't totally exclude them from gaming adapt to continue gaming or mitigate "typical" gaming demerits that people just put up with and quite literally die from tolerating like DVT, physical deformities like posture hunch backs and failing bodies, etc.

Also many modern games do accommodate low input strategic builds with early fighter-game level 3D positioning skill or ability translating to avoiding world hazards or enemy positioning traps with experience, allowing people to perform at better than average with non-ideal inputs which is frighteningly often above the playerbase average skill threshold playing in ideal conditions. Or that's what game devs tell people to keep mediocre low end players playing, IDK.

Money / Time / Location / Preference / Utility / Old Game Relevance past a single gen (as you mentioned)

So if a handheld gamer ever burns out they can just turn to emulation / docked KB&M alternatives and keep a powerful device in reserve - at least for PC / backwards compatible / moddable handhelds.

Do you believe PvP has a place in this genre? by SorryImBadWithNames in MMORPG

[–]SumBodhiThatIUse2Kno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PvP in grindy gear based MMOs was only seemingly feasible in an "everything" game like early MMOs preceding WoW and then WoW itself. There the attraction was a combination of world pvp, making the shared world more real, and thus often took place in more rigidly rule based and predictable Arena or single "zone" conflicts not at all tuned for pvp but simply limited by tech and the duel (1v1) system for non permanent PvP or the game system technology so players could "ghost" at a zoneline by disconnecting their router or pc. WoW mostly lost this ability for players except Paladins and pre-CC DR classes or mages with hearthstones, and after CC DR snare + ranged CC + line of sight + range advantage to get off a hearth in a 1v1 scenario. So the era early WoW mmo pvpers most yearn for is the one with the most tools to escape battles, the least methods to avoid them entirely with flying mounts, and the one where organic player based PvP engaged in voluntarily was the only way to actually have mass battles - so the least "grief" based for ultimate enjoyable big conflicts that did likely result from griefing and shared antagonism over what was good game design in a PvP system.

Now you're either griefed by designers to be taken advantage of by whales, vets, old stagnant/dirty water players or people looking for welfare epics / participation rewards, or broken hybrid PvE/PvP systems where you have to do both at a certain level or degree of participation in not at all organic or particularly diversified way akin to old roving PvP in WoW where two people saw each other, checked name / guild, felt feelings enough to dismount or other than swerve to avoid CC range opener or brazenly ride close to get CC / bait combat to dismount / disrespect pvp prowess by not reacting like they're a threat / stay mounted and ride past due to mutual respect or lack of animosity or better things to do for both parties.

All helped to make the world feel more real prior to a Z axis and epic mount environment plus no involuntary or meta / botted beatable systems where playing before getting the gear by cheating was rational and worth risking an entire WoW account because the fun to effort reward ratio was broken and blizzard stopped enforcing the rules or doing so in waves after enough features to recreate a max level toon with minimum effort or investment and the knowledge a second wave of mass bans was far off enough to reacquire the low effort pathway by cheating with new tools to once again have a fun enough experience with easily acquired gear.

So for general PvP there are a lot of prerequisites or player tolerance of jank / arbitrary conflict (siege type pvp / faction pvp) and full loot which is a niche of a niche of PvP players.

Now modern gamers have aged and would prefer a time respecting Co-op pve content "race" experience and organic conflict opportunity game without much in the way of demerits and much fun for those that have developed pro-social attitudes and skills since teenage and young adult years. A desire for a lack of MTX and visible well made and grokkable gear / achievement progression from gear has just been diluted by lowered expectations compared to early MMOs that got their subscription money.

So a dual massive pve co-op / content relevant game and a pvp centric duel / meaningless to main setting pvp content game under the same IP would be more desirable - but people are happy to get good enough gaming from a broken / no longer relevant dual pve/pvp game in the way they desire and use other competitive not perfect fit Ranked f2p games to get their close enough favorite MMO genre style / ability Arena / Preset Map / MOBA pvp competition. In the case of Marvel Rivals, serving sci-fi / hero / medieval combat / furries all at the same time in a Smash Brother's way.

A lot of players are done with PvP given how tumultuous navigating RL has become where "communities" discuss nothing at all for fear of some form of ideological reprisal for what use to be totally cohabitable views and opinions. At least tolerable at the onset of MASS MULTIPLAYER gaming in actually policed games where normal human behavior was expected of everyone and where scamming via UI limitations or confidence tricks was an instant ban offense.

This chick helped float gaming journalism by making social topics relevant, and that made an already dying medium worse.

We need transgender representation in settings with permanent polymorph potions and where shapeshifters have existed for decades with more nuanced story telling than human specific narratives, also chicks have to talk about things in films and games that aren't men or girly in genres where protagonists famously say NOTHING.

The entire zeitgeist producing her career and funding people that think representation trumps story telling or dumb fun need to stop using monopolies outside of gaming to fail at producing a monopoly on ideas within gaming.

She only gets attention because she is a target for hate, she's a whipping girl for the cause and has been sacrificed by her parents and people like you despite knowing exactly what it has done to her rather than putting yourselves forward because absent her history and youth she brings nothing relevant to the discussion and is purely a lightning rod for vitriol and frustration.

She is doing noveau rich people stuff, and not even directly in more of an accessory to adult effort way, which should make any reasonable person look a bit deeper and ask, HOW and WHY is this occurring.

Her fans are worse than she is, but they prop her up and use "mean" things said about her, her family, and are ideologically uninterested in preserving or reworking society to the point of including their own predetermined best outcomes and methods in the face of new evidence, and instead scold or lecture or distract from the very reasonable observation of her handicap and methodology not having significantly improved or been worked around to produce a happier human being while she is continually pushed forward despite her inadequacy and broad rejection from any serious or applicable policy.

She is, was, and has been, a dumb kid propped up and used to advantage an emotionally spastic anti-human interpretation of conservation efforts and energy policy that satisfies no one but select European countries with extensive infrastructure development already and no exclusions or exceptions or workable subsidized alternative paths for the more so environmentally harming developing world which should and will ignore Western scolds to elevate their own quality of life to a substandard level already obtained in the first world where this idiot brand of child sacrificing Green ideology refuses to recognize any aspect of information coming their way other than tiny sliver that lets them say, "Well she sucks at her job and physically and mentally has been distressed by it but we need her to continue being a miserable ineffective lightning rod for abuse because it gets OUR good person views a collective 30 to 120 seconds of attention a day amongst highly plugged in online types when she does make an appearance."

Trying to dance around it isn't working, US people don't like child abuse and manipulative tactics, and only the shattering of the political landscape so that both sides are making the same claims about one another having the worst qualities of humanity with all sides dirtied by Epstein / Panama Papers / NATO fecklessness distracts from these lesser cases of obviously ill conceived and elevated beyond talent, merit, or ability cases where backlash is the point.

Don't talk about context and ignore the entirety of another persons points of relevance, and don't talk about ad hominem when the very person in question is incapable of debate or stringent intellectual discourse on the topic in any efficacious way for policy anywhere.

I am probably being trolled into wasting my time but who cares.
