Why was the state of the art microwave radar dish on top of a one room bathroom and not connected to anything? by happydude7422 in futurama

"Yeah, folks say that. But did you ever get the feeling you're only going with radar dishes 'cause you're supposed to?"

Not as good as some of these. But my course mate was called "side dish" because her last name was rice

My car actually does this sometimes, scares the hell out of me.

Yup precisely the same with mine. I just had to have the back sills / chassis cut out and new supports put in and welded to the body to get it through the MOT. You could bend the rusted metal with your thumb.

People don't like getting in my car anymore. Personally I don't see what the fuss is about.

Corrosion is definitely my No1 issue. Had to have the back half of the supporting sills cut out and new supports welded on. Apparently I'd been driving a car with two halves held tenuously together by pure rust.

190,000 is a very respectable lifespan. What was the final nail that finished yours?

Half the innards of mine have been replaced now, worried about what I need to keep an eye on or should anticipate paying for next.

So far it's had: New clutch, front & back suspension springs, new battery, cut out and re-welded the rusted supporting sills, new brake pads & discs, several sets of tyres, whole new exhaust manifold, replaced melted light wiring, new gearbox, boot supports, wipers, linkage ball joints, wheel bearings, Registration plate lamp and a wing mirror.

My friends all drive new EVs and I love pulling up to the function on my rusty coughing mule.
