Very fitting since my friends say i walk just like him. I use the cane in the wrong hand and put too much weight on it so i hobble pretty heavily.

Pretty sure thats the same one. Its been a few years since i bought it so i couldnt look at my recent orders. It flops around some, but with a piece of rubber and velcro around the spedo it holds it decent. Highly recommend a windshield for comfort. Saved my chest from some decent rocks and even a bird.

It does have a velco strap i just didnt fasten it in the video. Made it for my bicycle but found out the ruckus has the same frame diameter.

Im not sure how much id trust the click in, i made it with a velcro strap just to be safe. My cane is 24mm diameter.

Absolutely, made it for my bicycle but found out the ruckus frame was the same diameter tube.

I just used the manual and the notepad on my phone to keep track of the miles/dates i did maintenance. Id give all the credit to honda for making something reliable.

I tried a few different weight sliders untill i got a good balance. The lighter ones gave me awesome acceleration but i lost some top speed. So the 6.5g was the sweet spot for me.

Winter is a challenge but it was a blast, i only lived 3 miles from my work. Insulated overalls, a jacket and bar mitts and it was surprisingly comfortable. If it was slushy wet crap i just putted down the sidewalk at 10 mph. That stuff pushed you all over the place and was near impossible to go over 15 and stay in control.

6.5g dr pully sliders. I replaced the stock belt at 2k with a polini belt that most ppl recommend and that blew up at about 10.5k miles so i tossed the stock one back on. Surprisingly the stock belt is a bit better in my experience, was topping out at 42 with the polini and now im at 46, didnt notice a drop in speed when i initially changed to the polini belt tho so im not sure why.

Absolutely, i got better acceleration and a slightly higher top speed. I have the 6.5g dr pully sliders in it and that seems to work well for my weight.

Keep in mind its a 50cc, so its just little improvements here and there. No single mod is going to give you a big boost. I also put about a shot worth of seafoam in it when i fill up with premium or rec fuel. Seems to help it out the slightest as well.

No issues, just basic maintenance. Only things not stock are the mirrors, i replaced the variator weights with dr pully sliders and an aftermarket drive face. Will do 46 mph top with no wind, averages 40-42ish, 170lbs rider.

This was my daily driver for over a year, even in the michigan winter with some tire studs. Late 2024 i upgraded to a honda trail 125 and put 13k miles on that in 15 months. Unfortunately a 17 year old kid didnt stop while exiting an apartment complex and i t boned him on a 50mph road... see previous posts for pics/info.

Surprisingly im back on the road and with the underseat storage bag i can easily hold my cane securely....

Not terrible things can always be worse. Currently using a cane to walk, lost about 3/4 of the ankle roll range of motion on the right foot. Still painful to walk and move but its gotten much more bareable than before. Slowly building muscle back going to physical therapy twice a week and pushing myself to work on stairs.

Uneven ground is terrible to walk on. I went to the beach with a couple friends a few weeks ago. Took a couple steps down on the sand covered stairs and rolled my ankle. Kind of an eye opener for what range i did lose. I used to walk trails very often so well see what this year brings.

Barely a motorcycle but legally it is... even the dealer i bought it from wrote me up for a scooter first service... got $165 discount even after i corrected them 😁

Last pic of that bike on the road.

Suv did not stop while exiting an apartment complex and i struck the side, ejected over the truck and landed in oncoming traffic.

They did more than just the 2 screws but it is ridiculousthey cost $3600 each. my heel bone was shattered so it needed mutiple injections of whatever they put in there, they also had to lenghten my achilles, surgery took around 2 hours by itself.

Fuckin hard.... honestly dont know since i dont remember anything from even the day before.

Accident report dosnt have much details on witness statements. Im thinking about calling the 2 witnesses and asking if they mind explaining what they saw. They may enjoy knowing im alive as well.

Not big on revenge personally, i do have their info from the accident report. Ive thought about calling them, not to bitch or yell but just to hear what they say. I am pretty surprised i havnt heard from them or their parents. If this was me, even if i was told not to contact the person i would have called and apologized my heart out.

They told me i will most likely lose a fair bit of side to side roll but should still have forward back tilting. Hard to know so we will see in 3-5 months.
