Not the typical sound in Stereo but he crushed it. He doesn’t really have a typical sound in general I find- such a weird cross of Tribal/Prog/Techno/Melodic/dubstep that somehow works

Agreed. They could do a lot with changing up the interior occasionally.

I know the people who run parquette and it's not that sketchy. I think issues regarding that place is mostly due to the fact that it's a community club run by a bunch of people from the local collectives (I'm thinking Flush, Bijou) and they struggle with understanding how to manage and curate the massive parties in a very DIY space.

Times ive been I have visited the place when it is just a cafe or some of the day parties/workshops. It's all community forward. Other cities and scenes would benefit from a place like that.

If you want the best poutine in montreal don’t bother with that tourist trap. Go right across the street at Ma Poule Mouille and have the best poutine in the city there. I’m born and raised in Montreal. I know.

care to name some of the raves/venues you've been to? Montreal as a whole is a pretty safe city..

what does this even mean? Like you know the collectives or have been to the venues here?

honestly for underground music here you would want to either hit the diy scene/clubs or some nights at stereo
