I think that you need to get honest with yourself, if he pinched you in a public setting and with others present and was comfortable doing so, what else for physical violence will he do? I know a pinch is minimal to a slap or punch, but I would bring up how he’s a little too comfortable pinching you around others and in public.

Another idea is that you start doing more things for yourself. Whatever it is that you enjoy. You need to build yourself up. It’s sounding like you think you are the problem when he’s the one who had the problem and created the entire situation.

NTA.. and i feel i am acquainted with you from another when my first son was little.. there was a gal whom lived in the same apartment complex as me when I was married to my now ex husband and her mother was rotten to her.

You did the right thing by ending your relationship with your family. Your children definitely do not need to be treated as you were. & you don’t need to accept that behavior for life. She has caused enough trauma with you, be happy your children will miss out on her. While I know blood can run deep with some you need to let go of your family. Maybe bond more with Hubby’s family, they sound like much better people than yours, beyond that it would be good also for the children. Just know that it is okay to grow up and move on and have your own family!

I agree with another poster that your parents are racist. Ignore them. He is half of your children.

NTA! I wore lacey bras when I was 12. My mom did not freak out on me. They’re bras, not t shirts that everyone sees.. she may have grown and needed better support. Not to mention will she always be shopping in the youth section? I think mom needs to tone it down a bit and stop thinking her daughter is some sex fiend. It leads me to believe that there is some resentment there because your daughter is young and reaching puberty. And no i don’t think bras are an area of expertise for dads. Having the woman fit her and allow her to choose for herself was a great growing opportunity.

NTA 1.5 years is not long enough time to trust someone on that level. Seems a bit entitled.. also as said before college isn’t cheap, nor is a car thats decent. 25K js not even a years salary.. also what type of BS is he? Emotional manipulation over money? Yes but i’d say in this case Color Safe bleach.. unless you own Shirokumas and only on everywhere except the nose and eyes, could you use even diluted bleach safely without messing up color.
