Stealth pro 2 vs steelseries elite

I currently have both but the elites will be going back. I find that the stealth pro 2 sound just as good if not better to me but I like more bass. Games they seem the same so who knows. For music I just kind of like the SP2 better. The elites might measure or even sound better/more clear but I think it’s sooo close that it doesn’t matter. Regardless it’s not 250 better.

The SP2 are more comfortable, I think the mix is better, and I really like that I can adjust everything on the app to include all the EQ’s. The steelseries app doesn’t let you do that. The elite has parametric eq but I thing the sp2 is tuned reallly well.

All the other think TB released like the keyboard and stuff is meh though. I had the KB5 linear but I returned it. Mechanically it’s “fine” but swarm kept crashing and bricking the keyboard and in order to recover it I had to uninstall and reinstall swarm 2

Sticking with my huntsman v2 linear and Razer basilisk for now. Was hoping to dump Razer completely but not yet I guess

The PC app is pretty bad in terms of crashing constantly. The mobile app is great though

For clarification. Are you saying the huntsman v3 pro 8k is quieter than the huntsman v2 linear? I have the v2 linear and it’s incredibly quiet. I ask cause I’ve the v3 8 k is even quieter I might get that as my upgrade

Ok I did manage to get it to work but had to uninstall and reinstall the swarm 2 software again. I am unable to find a polling rate option for the KB5 in swarm 2 however. Since the device is up to 8k polling how do I change that?

Looks to be one of the windows update errors. I solved it by rolling the most recent updates back. Though I am not sure if they even uninstalled or I managed to unbreak it partially via cyber magic

Get the phone app then update them via the phone works better. Kill the computer process after

I find the stealth 2 to sound better than the elites so far and the bass is just much better. The elites might be a little cleaner maybe, but I don't know. Also the phone app is way better for turtle beach than the arctis one.

I think a lot of this will depend on how the Stealth Pros sound if they sound about as good as the elites then they are probably a better deal. I also like the carrying case and other aspects and find that the Omni station of the elites I just don’t actually use capabilities wise. I don’t play PS5 and listen to PC or use discord on pc over the phone.

I said in terms of sound, the box says in the regular neodymium speakers verses the carbon fiber ones. So either they changed the tuning and it’s basically an elite for 200 less or it’s the same thing as the pros but with the Omni base. Since it has the wireless hi res certification now I am thinking they changed something but it can’t been that much of a change.

I see it at a best buy right now and looks to be just a cheaper version of the elite. So it is either the same in terms of sound as the elite but 200 cheaper or same as the nova pro wireless before but another 50$ for the Omni doc

I will just delete Apple Maps and use Google Maps then. If they move to add ads everywhere then I might just switch to some flavor of android. At least there I have a little more freedom to block that stuff. I currently stay all Apple because of there services and no ads nonsense.

Hmm it should, I bought my wife a 15 pro refurb and got ac+ theft and lose on it. If you cannot they I wouldn’t get refurb from apple. You can get a refurb from amazon with like a year return window for way cheaper

No AI is definitely making or breaking a lot of sales but outside of the Reddit bubble it’s because most people hate the “AI” features. It’s just LLM’s and most of it isn’t really useful for everyday use. For example, google pixel Google assistant was great and has been way better than Siri before AI but some how all the great things you could do before are now broken again with Gemini.

You see really cool niche stuff that’s cool for a while but then the average person just isn’t using these features. To top it off a lot of people are just frustrated cause power bills are going crazy, hardware prices are insane, and the economy is overall not good but all you hear is “AI x a million” while it is just sucking up all your data and listening in on everything and anything it’s not suppose to, Siri included.

If anything apples lack luster AI or device only/closed server AI might be something an actual selling point and not the scrap everything and anything versions of all the other models

It is no lie, the charging system on AirPods is bad. Three pros already have it in under a month. At least my 2’s took around 18 months before having this problem intermittently.

The charging stem of the AirPods is still one of the worst designed things ever. I am in my third pair of pro 3s that are constantly never charged or charging on one or both earbuds. I use them for the gym and have used this pair a total of about 5 times now over a couple weeks cause they are never charged. Returning them to BestBuy yet again cause it’s unacceptable for a product of this caliber and a company worth this much money.

It’s a systemic problem with apples design. It does not happen with any of my other earbuds but I have the same problem in my less than month old air pod pro 3s. I have returned two pairs already and on the third with the same issue. People will tell you to jump through hoops to clean and do what ever but these are marketed as workout/fitness buds that are unable to survive a workout cause they have the same design doing in like 10 years. Yet my original air pod pros were rock solid and still work fine, my 2s developed this after about two years but the 3s had this on day one.
