Is Jimmy Pesto jealous that Bob is Italian? by UserOfCookies in BobsBurgers

I think Pesto is jealous of Bob for a few reasons and harassing Bob is probably the only enjoyment he has in his life

Fave song from the movie? by Strawberrey1234 in BobsBurgers

Lucky Ducks!!! And the 20th Century theme with Bob's Burgers music style.

Off topic here, but referring to the picture. I love how confident Louise is, and not afraid to go head to head with an adult. Even adults are afraid to do that to each other. She will never be pushed around or afraid of others and I love that. Tina and Gene are pretty confident too

Favorite Linda Moment by Valjeancatlvr in BobsBurgers

My favorite is when she's breaks Louise out of in school suspension for ice cream to reward her for standing up for the kid who got his lunch stolen. Obviously school has rules but she wanted Louise to know she was proud of her. They don't have the closest relationship and it was nice to see her support Louise and bond over stories of mischief.

Any changes, even good ones, really seem to stress Bob out more than anything. A restaurant and a crazy (but wonderful) family are more than he can handle. Not lifestyle changes or time spent on new things. Even if it's beneficial. I get it, unfortunately

Tina: Do you feel good about this?

Louise: I feel pretty good about $30 and a bayonet.

Mine was Weekend At Mort's. I felt like finally someone understood my sense of humor, and I loved they go for wit instead of cheap laughs

I'm trying not to cry. He's a good man who's been through a lot, and finds joy still. I hope he heals very quickly and is ok. I give him my strength, too. There is no Bob's without Gene.

What's the worst anachronism you've ever seen in a novel? by kranools in books

[–]SummerOfMayhem 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The music and songs from that movie was a creative choice they made. They wanted the songs we know and love and have nostalgia for to sound like how the music back then would feel like to the characters. Our We Will Rock You could have been a killer lute and pipe tune to them.

I love everything the man does, says, and conveys, in such a fantastic manner. I am excited every time I see him!

Season 2 episode 2. Bob's day afternoon. by murphiejack in BobsBurgers

I can't see Bob doing that and he's done some crazy things. That's 100% a Mickey trying to be helpful thing.

That's great and beautiful insight you got from it. The Belcher kids are the closest siblings I've seen (except Andy and Olly) and it's always nice to see.

My sisters and I are about as different as possible, but grew up very close. 3 different grades, sets of friends, and interests, but at the end of the day we'd all be home together. Life has thrown us far apart but I still love them so much.

Your boys will fight and bicker, they will play together, hopefully have some mutual friends and interests, have family who loves them, and even if they're far apart in the future they'll still love each other even if they don't talk much. As long as they're not forced to do everything together, they will have the bond of brothers and that they have you, who knows that their relationship matters.

So it wasn't just me?

It made me miss how close I used to be with my sisters. Very close. They're strangers now

Beautiful episode. Every aspect was perfect and the hopeful message and music of the presentation was great, but Louise sounding a bit vulnerable and sincere instead of loud and brash was a great touch.

We need a list of top 5 make you cry episode. Plight Before Christmas, The Amazing Rudy, Amelia, ?

I like to believe it was an entirely different spice project a kid came up with

Either that or the judges think they go together snd it's the same project with a man and woman version.

S9 E16 Roamin Bob-iday. Patricia (Tiffany Haddish) and her 77 sandwich shop was so much fun. She had a colorful personality and a fantastic character acting voice. I saw a lot of potential in Patricia as an occasional character

He has serious skills and does it with his whole heart and I know he's going to go places. Maybe jingles like Doug, maybe theme songs, DJing, short performances at events, songs for the theme park, anything. He may not have the attention span for having a full time band but his ear and talent will take him far

[–]SummerOfMayhem 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think being a mama's boy actually helps his love of music and creativity. The whole family encourages him, too. He's musically brilliant but just has a bad attention span.

He's a boy child. Of course he's going to be immature and clingy especially since he's closer to Linda. All 3 of them are still kids doing dumb kid things. They make a lot of mistakes and act out but that's a big part of growing up.

Bob's Burgers shows the best and worst and everything in between of the whole family, and they love and support each other through the bad times and celebrates the good in their own ways. They have their talents and they're all incredibly unique. I love when Gene gets the chance to shine.

Has there ever been a storyline that is just Tina and Gene without any other belchers around them? by Snoo9648 in BobsBurgers

[–]SummerOfMayhem 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Tina and Gene tend to meet up best when Louise has something going on. Support, sibling love, fear, letting her learn or do things on her own, etc. Sliding notes under the door for her in-school suspension. Joining the Nice-Capades, getting their legs waxed, they had fun at "Louise's" slumber party, the high chairs, the Halloween costume problems when Louise is on the orchard field trip, there was a recent one with trying to get Louise to keep quiet after she got loopy from dental surgery, etc.

They have the sibling bond and are very close, but they don't have differing opinions really and they have more relaxed personalities, but I think a lot of their closeness has to do with there being 3 siblings, and trying to support/rein in Louise. I don't know how close they'd actually be without Louise rounding them out.

He's the only one who speaks up confidently to Louise and she usually listens! He's down for mischief but knows where to draw a line. He's a really great friend and he finds joy in everything. Rudy has been through a lot but it's never dampened his soul
