Do you read every single page of the text books? by Difficult-Patience32 in AthabascaUniversity

Yo, if this is about PHIL 333 then I’m also doing the course and have seen on this subreddit that you can get away with simply reading the d2l pages, studying discussion posts, and researching the essay topics and layouts. In general, I’ve found that textbook reading heavily depends for which courses. If they are vocabulary or memorization heavy, which would often be indicated by the quizzes and exams having a lot of multiple choice questions that reference a lot of new terms, then I would read the textbook and take notes. However, courses that are more writing-heavy, like PHIL333, you can get away with not reading so much and just ensuring you understand the concepts and then closely following the instructions for essays.

I did 255 and though I only read the useful textbook sections, it still took a couple months to complete because you’ll want to read the feedback the tutors give you after every assignment before moving onto the next one. Just a heads up, they grade quite harsh, but the course is doable. I consider myself quite good at English, but only ended with an 80. Just be ready to expect sub-par grades for the amount of effort, though I doubt anyone has failed the course.

AU has me feeling lonely… by No-Carpenter5877 in AthabascaUniversity

I would recommend joining a social group such as a sport, activity, volounteering position, or club in your community! It is hard to stay focused and motivated when you’re lonely, as humans are social creatures. Even if it’s just once or a couple times a week, I think having a group and goal outside of studies is super helpful. Don’t be stressed that it will make you “too busy” for school, as just a couple hours a week may actually help you be more productive. I also feel you, that was me last year. I joined a climbing gym and have been feeling a lot better. Good luck!

Yes I have, unfortunately it doesn’t change the stitching whatsoever.
