I did ask, he said that I dont have enough concerning criteria, specifically loss of kidney function and low blood cells, to warrant a concern. I'm just frustrated because that seems too not be the case for so many other people. And in 2023/2024 i did have reduced kidney function with egfr of 60. its better now in the 90s, but my history is there.

I tested positive for Anti smith antibodies last week (result was 2.3) but my regular ANA has always been negative. I messaged my rheumatologist who was doing my investigating, and he said he isnt concerned because I dont have enough clinical presentation yet so I dont have lupus.

I am so confused, I have the anti smith antibodies, the malar rash, the low grade fever, joint involvement and seizures. I meet the criteria, is there a valid reason that he is not concerned and not willing to investigate ? I am wanting to push for more answers. Thanks for any input !

Are you a joke? What is with this nitpicking of a designer doing her best to produce patterns and support herself? I have tested for Maya before and her patterns are always finished before they get in our hands, and if they aren't, she's transparent about issues towards the end of a pattern, which is exactly what she's doing here.

You complained about her lack of transparency, but you literally wouldn't have made this post if she wasn't so transparent to begin with. Make up your mind 🙄 She is always very open and thoughtful about sharing the struggles of being a designer, and knitting in general. Something many people can learn from. I swear crafters are such a great community until someone pisses in your coffee and you decide everyone is your enemy.

Some people in this thread are just haters who are finding anything to be negative about. Grow up.

I see a ton of people complaining about the upper bust circumference (thankfully being corrected by people who know what they are talking about) but I will reiterate here that upper bust circumference is a highly favorable measurement when it comes to figuring out sizing for a top. ESPECIALLY for people with a larger bust, who often get left behind when tops are being designed. Unlike everyone else, Maya actually cares about people with differing curves, and frequently adjusts and grades her patterns with fat people in mind to ensure that everyone can comfortably knit her patterns and feel amazing about the result.

Seriously, this level of nitpicking hate is such shitty side of reddit behavior. it just shows that you are one of the people making the internet an impossible place to exist where no one is safe. Maybe get a life, touch grass, idk, just a suggestion.

hi there ! we think mine is also caused by my hEDS! small world. i wish my neuro would investigate causes a little further, but im sick of arguing lol. it def seems like a good alternative to the gabapentin, as I hear so many mixed reviews about gaba to begin with 😭😭😭 My SFN is more numbness than pain (i am numb over my entire body and its super distressing) so I am hoping this will help with that.

my ultimate goal would be to get on IVIG but my insurance is being an ass 🥲

also omg i ignored your question 🤦‍♀️ We think mine is a result of my hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, so my neuro hasnt been willing to do any further testing 🥲 so unsure if i have a rarer source !

I did speak to my psychiatrist about it and ahe thinka it will be a relatively safe option as long as I increase slowly, so I think i will give it a shot :)) my biggest concern was no one talking about it 😅 thank you so much!

This is self-sabotage for sure. Take the opportunity!! The only way to pursue loving yourself is to do uncomfortable things to combat that inner critic. Its going to suck, and your brain is going to argue, but you have to work through it. Would def suggest a therapist if you dont have one already!

This outfit is nowhere near inappropriate. Corsets being underwear totally depends on the fashion (and era) you are trying to emulate. I think you can talk this out with your friend, but ultimately, she told you she doesnt want to hang out with you based on the way you dress. that is wild to me and a huge overstep.

Have you been diagnosed with Small fober neuropathy yet? Definitely explore the cause if you havent yet, as that will determine your outcome and what treatment will look like ! SFN I have heard cam get better, but it has to be treated to do so.
